Most people think setting up outdoor lighting like this is difficult or expensive. It’s not.
The lights are fully customisable, voice activated and work great for events or just everyday ambiance.
Free step-by-step guide on how I did it — link in bio.

To be fair, most of the mess is mine. But that’s not the point.

The point is the house is clean, the kitchen is spotless, the range hood filter has been soaked within an inch of its life, and I earned that 5 minutes on the couch.

This one’s for every bloke out there copping the backlash while quietly running the whole household behind the scenes. Zero recognition. Full effort. We see you. 🫡

Today I ticked over 5,000 followers on Facebook and somehow picked up a Rising Creator badge. Still not totally sure what that means 😅

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s followed along and supported the page. It genuinely means a lot.

I’m just an everyday guy who started out with no real home improvement experience, and I’m still learning on every job. Just having a go, making mistakes, and learning as I go. If I can inspire anything, I hope it’s this. You just have to make a start and try. It won’t always be perfect, but the more you try, the better you get.

I’m working hard on new ideas and projects that I hope help or inspire you to tackle things around your own homes.

Thanks again for being here. Plenty more to come. ❤️

Cheers
Kurt

I built a timber frame from scratch, pulled apart old fence panels, and turned them into a full feature wall — including hiding the electrical meter box inside it.

No fancy materials. No guarantees. Just trusting the process and making it work.

This is why I love DIY — you don’t need new gear, just a solid idea and the confidence to start.

What started as a “simple upgrade” turned into a full carport-to-garage transformation. From framing to fixing surprises along the way, this project definitely didn’t go as planned — but the end result was worth it!

Transforming an old concrete path can completely lift your home’s curb appeal — and it’s easier than you think!

Here’s how I refreshed this tired walkway using crack repairs, a full clean and etch, plus Dulux concrete products for a long-lasting finish.

Project Steps Included:

• Stripping old paint with a pressure cleaner
• Grinding and repairing cracks
• Trowel-on mortar repairs + sponge smoothing
• Etching and deep cleaning the concrete
• Applying primer for maximum adhesion
• Finishing with 2 coats of Dulux Concrete & Paving Paint

Whether you’re updating your entryway, patio, or any outdoor concrete, this process gives you a durable, modern result that looks professionally done.

If you found this helpful, drop a 👍 or comment and I’ll share more step-by-step projects!

Organising the garage into my own little workspace and finally getting the tool storage sorted.
One small upgrade at a time — but it’s starting to feel like a proper workshop now.
Nothing better than a clean wall and everything in its place.
