After a hike, we walked into a little slice of England 🇬🇧.
She flew all the way from the UK… and I took her to an English pub in Perth 🤷🏻‍♀️🇬🇧😂
At least the food, garden views & pints made up for it! 🌿🍴🍺

A gentle hike through Armadale Settlers Common East, where spring paints the bush in colour. Wildflowers bloom, bees hum at work, and kangaroos bask in the sunshine. Sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones in nature 🌿💛

From kangaroos and emus to a dancing parrot, Armadale Reptile Park had it all 🦘🦜🐍 … even a bunch of toads chilling in a toilet 🚽🐸. The highlight? Tej bravely held snakes and a blue-tongue lizard — and one cheeky snake even gave him a kiss on the nose 💚.
But beyond the fun, parks like these remind us how precious reptiles and wildlife are. Every hour, another species disappears from our planet. Visiting, learning, and teaching our kids to respect nature is one way we can help protect these incredible creatures 🌏✨. ✨ Saturdays at the Serpentine Jarrahdale Market are more than just stalls and shopping — they’re about community, kindness, and connection. 🌿
From fresh produce and handmade goods to warm smiles, every corner has a story. My favourite? When a lovely stallholder gifted Tej broccoli seedlings 🌱 just because he showed such excitement for planting. That’s the kind of local love that makes these markets so special 💛
