🌴 I reckon I might be getting the hang of this relaxing thing! 😂🍻

We jumped on the scooter and headed west from Kuta to check out some beaches, watch the surf and hopefully find somewhere we could safely have a swim, grab some lunch and maybe a cold beverage or two!

What we found was some absolutely spectacular coastline, huge surf, paragliders soaring overhead and some pretty incredible views!

Then we stumbled across Lantis Resto & Bar… and what a find!

Great food, fantastic service, cold Bintangs and a table right on the beach. The beach itself reminded me so much of home, with beautiful soft sand and surf that was actually manageable enough for us to enjoy a swim!

And here's the really surprising bit… I actually managed to sit still long enough to relax on a daybed under a thatched roof, doing absolutely nothing!

Anyone who knows me will appreciate just how rare that is! 😂

Have to say, with a view like this, a cold b**r and nowhere in particular to be… I could definitely get used to this! 🍻🌴

We’ve had an absolute ball over the last few days in Lombok!

Great food, awesome sights and… dinosaur racing! LMAO!

After a huge weekend at the MotoGP, we thought we’d get into a bit of racing ourselves… against the kids!

And yes, I did resort to running and pushing because we were losing… and I HATE losing! Apparently I’m a little competitive!

Seriously, this was heaps of fun and we haven’t laughed so much in ages!

🏍️🏁 WOW!!!

What a day at the Pertamina Mandalika International MotoGP!!!

Day 3 certainly didn't disappoint!!
The racing, the atmosphere, the crashes, the noise… absolutely awesome!!!

And the Indonesian fans!!! 🇮🇩 Their passion for MotoGP is incredible, but hearing them all singing their national anthem was something pretty special. Loved it!! 👏

But the best part for me was getting to share the whole experience with Tegan and Dylan. ❤️ Doesn't get much better than that!

It's been way too long since I've watched live motorsport, and I'd almost forgotten just how good it is!!!

What a weekend… one I'll remember for a very long time! 🏍️🏁

Got to love the Aussie love of sport!!!! We’re here at the Mandalika MotoGP waiting for the action to start, so we are now watching the start of the Bathurst 1000 and the F1 sprint race from last night!!!

🏍️😂 Well, you can't say I'm not keen… first in line for MotoGP race day!

Day 3 at the Mandalika International MotoGP and I've managed to score pole position… unfortunately it's only in the queue to get in! 🤣

The grandstand seats here aren't allocated, so it's first in, best dressed, and I was determined to grab a good spot!

Did my research, read the gates opened at 7am, so here I am bright and early…
Turns out they don't open until 8am! 🤦‍♂️😂

Oh well, at least we'll get some cracking seats… and I've already secured first place in something today! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bring on the racing!! 🏁🏍️

Finding your scooter at the Mandalika MotoGP can be difficult….plus your seat gets incredibly hot….so, Tegan has come up with the plan to cover the seat with a towel so we can find it and she doesn’t burn her butt either 🤣 it’s worked so far…

Day 2 down!!! 1 more to go!!!

A very quick round up from Day 1 of the Mandalika MotoGP saw us do a pit walk where we were lucky enough to meet Jack Miller right before Practice Session 1, spotted Toprak Razgatlıoğlu (man he is tall, how he fits into a MotoGP bike astounds me!!! And then Fabio Quartararo scootered in behind us! Very cool!!!
The practice sessions were great with good vantage from stand J….big bonus is it’s undercover with the sun setting behind us so kept us cool and not burnt!!!
Saw quite a few crashes with a huge off by Deniz Oncu!!!
Day 2 is about to begin, bring on Qualifying and the sprint!!!

🍽️ A couple of days in Lombok and I reckon we're going to eat our way around this island!

We've been here a couple of days now and have to say, the food has been absolutely fantastic!

There's a great mix of traditional Indonesian dishes, some really interesting modern twists on the local cuisine, and plenty of Western options if you're craving a good burger!

But one thing that's really stood out is the service. It's next level!👏

The Indonesian people are incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. Nothing seems too much trouble, and there's a genuine warmth in the way they look after you. It's that good old-fashioned hospitality that makes dining out such an enjoyable experience.

And the prices? Very reasonable! We're certainly not skimping on where or what we're eating, and so far we've been really impressed with the quality and value.

Good food, fantastic service, a cold Bintang or two… what's not to love! 🍻😃

Anyone else been to Lombok? What was your favourite place to eat?

We'd love a few recommendations!

Just a little bit excited!!!

It's the first MotoGP I've been to for a while, first one not on Australian soil and the first time in Lombok!!! (Which I have to say has been amazing so far) Plus I get to share the experiance with Tegan and Dylan, first MotoGP for either of them........

To say I am really looking forward to this weekend is an understatement.......
