😊 Thank you for taking a look at my page. I took the plunge to travel full-time in October 2022......
I've already been to some amazing places and seen some fantastic things. But Australia is sooooo big....I need some help to find all the amazing things out there. If you know of anything please let me know and I'll add it to my ever growing list of "Must Do's"

Here is a taster of what this camp ground and beautiful little town has to offer.

How many times have you gone into an area thinking you have plenty of time to explore it???

Unfortunately even after 3 years on the road, I've done this too many times... The good thing is though, after a really good "taster" of an area, you know you need to go back and check it out properly...and with way more time....

The Eyre Peninsula is one of these places for me, I thought a couple of weeks would be enough, perhaps a little quick....how wrong I was!!! You can spend months down here!!! So a return trip will be planned, and planned way better then the first trip.

Here are a few snaps of the Lincoln National Park. A place I think you could spend a week in on its own. There is so much ground to cover, hikes to do, fishing, and some of the most sensational scenery you will see in Oz.

If you have the Eyre on your list.....extend your time there if you can....if you don't then I suggest put it on your list.

One last hint, apparently its nicknamed "Blowvember" down that way for a reason........🤣

Hope you enjoy the pics......

Sometimes it pays to be an early riser...

I managed to get these while out for an early morning walk around Coffin Bay.

I was taking a walk through our latest campground and saw the simplest of setups.

I love how we are able to explore this amazing country of ours, our own way…

Let’s keep it accessible, look after it and be kind to our fellow man……

Coffin Bay National Park Photo Bomb!!!!
OMG this place is gorgeous!!!

We lucked out with the weather and managed a glorious day without any wind.
The drive around to Point Avoid and Golden Island Lookout is spectacular. The headlands, the beaches and the colour of the water. Frolicking Seals and bird life everywhere........and lots and lots of EMU!!.
Its and easy drive in a standard car from Coffin Bay, just allow yourself some time to stop and enjoy the scenery....

Sorry about the amount of pics but the cull was very difficult to do...

Hope you enjoy the pics.....I loved taking them.

Yangie Bay in the Coffin Bay National Park is beautiful!! Check the National Park site to confirm pricing for the campsites.
This campsite is easily accesable via a standard car and set up.
There are a couple of nice walks there plus you can fish from the bank but not from boats as its a Sanctuary Zone. The campgrounds have toilets and an undercover area with tables..... it is set up pretty well..
If you want to do some 4wding there is access from here further into the national park.
On the lookout walk we spotted EMU and Wallabies who weren't bothered by is being there, it was nice to see them in there natural environment.
Hope you enjoy the pics.....

Talia Caves the Woolshed Cave and rock pools are located about 30 minutes drive north west of Elliston on the Eyre Peninsula, which is all accessible via 2wd.
This pituresque part of the coast is gorgeous, there are also a number of campsites which are paid there as well including Coodlie Park Eco Retreat and also the Woolshed Cave Campground booked online which you need to be fully self sufficient for.
The caves are awesome to see and well worth the short detour off the highway, even if you are just traveling through the area.......
The photos don't do the place justice, it is a magnificent area worth exploring......

Murphy's Haystack on the Eyre Peninsula.........
We called into have a look at them as we were driving past from Streaky Bay heading towards Coffin Bay. Its just off the highway with heaps of parking if your towing.
I didn't realize you could camp there, and after visiting I'm thinking it would be a magic spot to stop for the night.
The views at sunset and sunrise would be next level and I am guessing that the rock formations would light up as the sun dropped, making for some amazing pictures.
The stop has under cover tables and a toilet, no fires are allowed which makes sense, and there is heaps of room to park up....maybe put this on your list as a stop if you're in the area.
I hope you enjoy the pics, the cost for the visit and camping are in the photo's.
Cheers
Aaron
