We are packed ready to go.
How good is that?
For the first time in over 10 years, we're heading away and apart from getting to Cairns...
We've got absolutely no plan.
No schedule.
No rushing.
No "we have to be back by Monday."
If we find a place we love, we'll stay another night.
If someone tells us about a little country pub or a beautiful beach, we'll head there.
We're just going to wake up each day and see where it takes us.
A few years ago, we couldn't have imagined living like this.
Life always had a timetable.
This trip doesn't.
And to be honest...
We're bloody excited about that.
Who's got a place we absolutely have to visit along the way? πŸ‘‡β€οΈ

Not because everything has always gone our way.
It hasn't.
We've had our fair share of setbacks, stress and days we'd rather forget.
But somewhere along the way we realised...
Life's too short to spend it waiting for the perfect time.
So we laugh.
We make fools of ourselves.
We take the trip.
We back ourselves.
We say yes more often.
Because at the end of the day...
The memories will never be about how much money we made.
They'll be about the laughs we had and the people we shared them with.
That's how we choose to live.

Our trip got put on hold...
Because boofhead decided to pull a stunt on our last trip. πŸ™„πŸ˜‚
That meant...
Hospital visits.
Blood tests.
Chest X-rays.
The whole lot.
The good news...
βœ… Chest X-ray is clear.
βœ… Bloods are all back to normal.
The only problem...
They still couldn't find his heart.
Although... that probably didn't surprise any of us. 🀣❀️

What if you don't?
What if you surprise yourself?
What if you learn something new?
What if you meet incredible people?
What if you laugh more than you have in years?
What if one decision changes everything?
Most people never find out.
Not because they failed...
Because they never gave themselves the chance to try.
And if we're honest...
We've failed at plenty.
We've stuffed up videos.
Pressed the wrong buttons.
Said the wrong thing.
Embarrassed ourselves more times than we can count.

But every one of those moments taught us something.

I looked at it and thought...
"Who let us loose on social media?"
Then I remembered something one of our mentors told us...
If you don't look back at your old posts and cringe... you haven't grown.
Well...

Back then we were trying so hard to get it right.
Now we just try to be us.
The smiles are real.
The laughs are real.

You don't get better by waiting until you're good.
You get better because you're willing to be terrible at the start.

Because when you love what you're building...
You don't have to force yourself to show up.
You want to learn.
You want to improve.
You don't mind making mistakes.
You don't care if you look silly every now and then.
You just keep going.
That's exactly what's happened to us.
We're not showing up every day because we have to.
We're showing up because we love what we're creating.
And when you enjoy the journey...
The results usually take care of themselves.

One of the biggest lessons we've learnt building a personal brand...
Not everyone is going to like you.
And that's okay.
Some people will love your humour.
Some will think you're a couple of clowns.
Some will cheer you on.
Some will unfollow you.
That's life.
The funny thing is...
The moment we stopped trying to please everyone...
We started attracting the people who actually got us.
The people who laugh with us.
The people who appreciate honesty over perfection.
The people who don't expect us to have all the answers... just to be ourselves.
If someone doesn't like what we do...
That's what the scroll button is for.

We'll keep showing up.
We'll keep laughing.
