EVERYONE SEES THE WORLD DIFFERENTLY đ
The way we each experience reality isnât the same. None of us see life âas it isâ - we see it through the lens of our own beliefs, past experiences, language, and values.
Those filters delete, distort, and generalise the raw data so it fits into our personal âmap of the worldâ
And get this⌠YOUR map is not the territory.
Take these two scenarios for example âŹď¸
1 - Two business owners can look at the same economic downturn. One sees danger, fear, and scarcity. The other sees opportunity, reinvention, and new markets to serve. Same event. Different models of the world. Different results.
2 - Imagine two men whose partners forget an anniversary. One interprets it as rejection, âshe doesnât care about me.â The other sees it as an honest mistake in a busy season and chooses connection instead of conflict. Again - same situation, two completely different realities.
This is why arguments happen, why misunderstandings blow up, and why some people thrive while others get stuck đŹ
When you understand that everyone is living in their own model of the world, you stop expecting others to see things exactly as you do.
Instead, you can start to bridge the gap, expand your own map, and create more powerful results in your relationships, business, and life.
