In our local a poor whale has beached itself got some awsome footage. We are all feeling sad for this mammal!

We've been reading alot of comments but feel they haven't put much effort to actually save the whale or tow it back out to sea! But we've been told the whale is sick and now sharks are hanging around.

The Zoo people have apparently come out and given it some injections 💉 😒...... RIP whale 🐋

Its a 💩 day here weather wise pi***ng down with rain but surely they could've done more....

So Jackie altered the compensation 🤦‍♀️

🎣 Today a report emerged following the Fisheries Minister ceasing the appointment of the Barrister tasked with negotiating the Compulsory Fisheries Adjustment Scheme.

It is concerning to hear the Fisheries Minister has decided to alter the compensation process some eight months after it was supposed to begin.

A number of fishers have already contacted me concerned about how long the process has taken but are now stressed about how this change may cause further delays.

This change in the negotiation process is only adding to the toll taken on fishers’ mental health.

It’s clear that this decision is typical of Labor: policy with no plan on how to execute.

The Minister must address why this arrangement has changed and guarantee each application will be fairly considered despite a change in arrangement.
