I serendipitously ran into the wonderful .by.bethf yesterday.

team were unpacking a house, she was chatting to her neighbour across the road. I work with this fabulous human in our other roles at Virgin Australia. Small world moment.

I was lucky enough to score a warm Biscoff biscuit straight from the oven and got to meet the famous Pretzel, her very adorable sidekick.

The Essentials Tub: your moving day lifesaver

When you move, the last thing you want at the end of the day is digging through 12 boxes to find a toothbrush or the kidsā€™ PJs.

Pack one Essentials Tub that stays with you, not on the truck. Include:
ā€¢ Toiletries for everyone
ā€¢ PJs and a change of clothes
ā€¢ Medications and favourite comfort items
ā€¢ Snacks, tea or coffee, mugs, basic cutlery
ā€¢ Phone chargers and a power board

Also, pack your fresh bedding into soft bags and label them clearly.
Have them loaded on the truck last so they come off first.
If you have space in your car, keep them with you instead.

Plan your first night like this: arrive, make beds asap, shower, eat, sleep, and deal with the rest tomorrow.
