🎣 SHIMANO JUNIOR & SMALL FRY TOURNAMENT – 14 NOVEMBER 2026 🎣

It’s time to get the future of our sport out fishing! 🐟

PHGFC is proud to launch what we hope will be the first of many successful Junior & Small Fry–only game fishing events, designed purely around getting our kids on the water, having fun and creating memories they’ll never forget.

This isn’t about how big the fish are or who wins — it’s about the kids, the experience, the friendships and getting them hooked on our amazing sport.

🚤 One boat entry — bring as many kids as your boat can safely accommodate
🎣 One full day of fishing – Saturday 14 November 2026

We want to see boats packed with kids. Bring your sons, daughters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends — anyone who wants to experience game fishing. If they are members they can join https://phgfc.com/ for free ,

For those kids who aren’t currently members of a game fishing club, there’s no reason they can’t get involved.

Let’s make this something really special.

Imagine these kids looking back in 10, 20 or 30 years and remembering the first game fishing tournament they ever fished. The boat they were on, the fish they caught, the people they met and, most importantly, the memories they made with their families.

That’s what this event is about. ❤️

Our weekly Friday Night Raffle kicks off at 6pm every Friday at the Waterfront Tavern.
The proceeds from these raffles go straight back into the club and fund our fantastic $3,000 Boat Prize Categories.

Get Registered and Join the Action!

Before heading out on the water, all boats and anglers must be registered with the Shellharbour Game Fishing Club for the 2026/27 season.

Registration is required before you leave shore on the day you fish to ensure your catch is eligible for club competitions, including the Winter Tuna Challenge.

The Port Hacking Game Fishing Club Paul Barning Memorial is on 2nd and 3rd of May. Can club boats fishing please flick me a message so I can go back to Hacking with rough numbers. Would love to see us up there. Cheers Kyls
