We are not saying you need to sell everything and disappear tomorrow. That is not our story.

Our story is two full time working parents building something on the side because we are done with the idea that life is meant to be work all week and recover on the weekend.

Mick works big hours. Kim works a solid Monday to Friday. Life is busy. The bills are real. The kids come first.

So we decided to build an online business around real life. One that teaches real skills. One that comes with mentorship and support. One that can grow into options over time.

This is us simply choosing to build a better life for our family, because nothing changes when you keep waiting for it to get better by itself.

But deep down, fear keeps winning.

Working more hours just to keep up.

Most people read it, nod their head, and then go back to doing the same thing they’ve always done.

Because changing it feels hard. It feels risky. It feels like something other people do.

But here’s what we’ve learned.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

You just have to be honest with yourself about where you’re at. And be willing to do something different.

Between the two of us, we’ve been working since we left school. Never stopped. Never coasted. Just put our heads down and got on with it. That’s all we’ve ever known.And we’re proud of that.

But at some point we looked at each other and said. Is this it?

So we started building something alongside our jobs. In the pockets of time we had.

Not a get rich quick scheme. A real business. That takes real effort. But one we actually enjoy building.

If you’re doing the work, ticking the boxes, but feeling like something is missing. This is your sign to at least look at what else is possible.

It’s wild what AI can create now.

This photo isn’t real.
But honestly… it’s getting harder to tell the difference.

A few years ago, this would’ve looked impossible.
Now people are creating magazine level images from a single phone photo in minutes. And while everyone’s laughing at the fun side of AI trends…

Companies are quietly restructuring around it.

Some of the biggest businesses in the world have already started replacing roles with AI and automation.
Customer service.
Admin.
Writing.
Design.
Support teams.
Even parts of coding and marketing.

Companies like Klarna, IBM, Duolingo, Shopify, Meta and Amazon have all publicly discussed restructuring, reducing teams, or increasing automation with AI. (Business Insider)

That’s not “sometime in the future”. That’s now. And honestly?
I don’t think people should panic…
But I do think people should pay attention.

Because depending on one income stream in a world changing this fast is becoming riskier every year.

That’s one of the reasons we started building something online. Not because we hate jobs. Not because we think AI will replace everyone.

But because having more than one option matters.

The world is changing fast.
The question is whether people change with it.
