🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🥳🥳🥳 today it happened … our competitors had their first opportunity to ride on our new Bounce Rubber Arena Surface arenas at Strathalbyn Polo & Recreation Grounds. Lorraine Wohling and HV Duke put their best foot forward and tested the surface before the comp started and gave it a huge thumbs up 👍🏻 We thank Lorraine for her support and hard work on this project ❤️ So many people have given us really positive feedback today and this means a lot to our committee - thank you! We now look forward to working with our members and competitors to bring you our Dressage Classic next month, back to back with the Dressage Club of South Australia (DCSA) event - make sure you get your entries in!

It is with much excitement that we share the news you have all been waiting for – Our three new permanent Bounce Rubber Arena Surface arenas are now ready for competition!

We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the SA Government - Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing - SA Recreation and Sport for your generous grant funding, Shane Curnow and EquiPro Services for bringing this project to life, Alyssa Penley and Bounce Rubber Arena Surface for their generous support and Lorraine Wohling for your vision, grant writing and project management – without all of this support we couldn’t have made it happen!

This project is opening a new chapter for our Club and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our members and all equestrian enthusiasts. We will have an official opening, so keep your eye out for details!

Mighty Farm Equine will be there and catering will be provided by the Lions Club.

Please note: Companion horses cannot work around the grounds and cannot be held near the competition arenas. Grounds familiarisation horses may work around the grounds but NOT in the arenas.

Allocated bridle numbers must be worn at all times as allocated via the draw.

***Please remember to Gear Check immediately after each test***

Dear Members and Competitors,

Due to the forecast of rain on Saturday and potentially Storms with lightning Sunday, the Committee has made the decision to cancel this weekend’s competition.

This decision has not been made lightly.

The safety and wellbeing of both our horses and riders.
Let’s hope September weather will be kinder…but it’s Winter ☺️
