If you're thinking of having your fascias restored, get them to us ASAP!

We're currently at around 24 weeks turnaround.

This is what is here right now, on the whiteboard.
There's more incoming.

About 7 names are about to be removed from this list this week, but will be replaced next week, retaining that 24 weeks turnaround. The more that arrive, the longer the turnaround.

We also have our exchange stock to rotate through that list.

Don't procrastinate.

1. Don't apply body filler over bare metal.
2. Don't apply body filler over rust.
3. Don't use body filler to adhere woodgrain inserts.
4. If you do, don't use the whole tin of filler.

Glue isn't expensive......

Came across some old photos of a HK Monaro we did some years ago. It was running a 5 speed transmission with the shifter about 2" forward of STD position.
The customer stated that the console must have a cup holder and it MUST be capable of holding a large Zarraffa's coffee cup. (He even gave me a cup to make sure it fits)
I think it was a Nissan X-Trail cup holder that was used? It was cut, reshaped, metalized and painted. The customer didn't want woodgrain inserts, but rather stainless inserts. Personally, not a fan of the stainless, but it wasn't my car, so that doesn't matter.

Anyway, we have two HK/T/G consoles here that are too far gone to restore back to original. If you're thinking of a custom console, have a future build that'll require one, get in touch and we'll come up with some ideas for one. Smoothed, blended and painted? Covered in leather? Hydro dipped? Gold plated even..........🤷

XR Falcon woodgrain inserts are coming soon!

After spending a whole morning, filing, straightening, reshaping this aftermarket junk so it actually fits Chris's trims, it was decided to make our f*****g own!
It's too wide, it's too long. The shaping is terrible. The colour is wrong, it's just junk. Even the curve they've put in the glovebox trim piece runs out on an angle from top to bottom. (Pic 7)

It fits now, but every piece of XR woodgrain we've fitted has been the same. Doesn't seem to matter who supplies it.
Mask up the vinyl, straighten each piece, recurve each piece, file the width and height down all without marking the vinyl. It takes hours.
Never again. 👎
We'll make our own. Drawings are already at the laser cutters.

Some HK and HT GTS instruments serviced, calibrated and ready to install. Again these have been refaced with our 3M vinyl printed decals.

The tachometers have also had their boards upgraded to a modern digital version, making them both compatible with points and electronic ignition.

Received a message over the weekend from a happy customer who purchased and fitted one of our 3M decal kits for his HK instrument cluster.

A very cheap way to spruce up those rusted, faded, ugly old instruments and make them look new again. Do it yourself with our decal kits.

Any interest in wrapped HK HT HG crash pads?

Vinyl wrapped, NOT VACUUM FORMED.

We've had Darren's HT GTS crash pad covered in Novatex black vinyl, while we finish up his instruments today and get everything ready to fit next week.

We're looking at doing a batch of minimum 5 to maximum 10 crash pads. These will be basic colours, (preferably black) won't be the "correct" texture of vinyl, won't win you a trophy at the Concours d'Elegance, but will tidy up your daily driver, will make your Pro Street/Tourer look mint and will make purists and rivet counters shed tears and cause them severe frustration because "THEY WERE VACUUM FORMED FROM THE FACTORY!!!" However, they will fit back on your vehicle, won't twist, warp and contort like some of the vac formed ones available at the moment and there's not a single stitch in them. Each one will be fitted to our test/display dash prior to shipping, checking for correct fit and finish.

We're looking for 5-10 people who would be interested in having their crash pad wrapped. We'll have you send it to us, we'll strip the years of Armor All out of it, repair all cracks, prep it for vinyl wrapping, deliver them to our local legendary motor trimmer who will do his magic with them, test fit and send them back to you. They'll take approximately 10 weeks from when all 5-10 are here, ready for us to start.

The black one in the photos required 5 repairs (cracks and chunks missing) and will cost Darren well under $400. Use that as a guide on pricing. Please don't ask how much to do yours, we don't know, we can't see it 🤷 We don't know how many repairs it requires. Images help more than imagination......

The red one is our own car. It was covered the same way, by the same people involved (us and our legendary motor trimmer) approximately 8 years ago. Still looks as good today as it did back then.

9 out 10 HK GTS, Premier, Brougham glovebox trims that we receive are either broken in half or thirds. I swear these things were fractured on installation at the factory.

But, we can repair 👌
