Ricky dropped by this morning with partner Alana and picked up his GTS instruments and fascias.

We've given him some blank templates for the console to measure and test fit for the B&M Bandit shifter so we can work something out for that👌

Getting through them, still more to go......

These speedo's and accessory gauges have been stripped, cleaned, serviced with the housings blasted, painted, refaced then assembled and calibrated. If you average them out at say one hour each to do all of that, it kind of consumes your week 🙃

Chris, our local instrument guru is upgrading a bunch of tachos for us, upgrading the boards to be compatible with HEI and points ignition. (That's WAY above my capabilities......)

Sorry guys, but we're not accepting any more fascia restorations until early next year.

We have limited exchange stock on hand and are trying to build back stock levels, but you guys have smashed our stock levels lately.

We currently have over 40 jobs here now with almost all being complete dash sets, with some being multiple car sets and Jason's box he sent with 16 fascias in it 🙃 (Then there's 2 turbo engine builds, 3 Grp C diff housings to finish and another to build)

By all means, get in touch and see if we have exchange stock for your needs. We're constantly adding to it, but it's constantly being depleted too.

We have plenty of HK and HT woodgrain inserts in stock.
We have plenty of HK HT HG and XR XT instrument face decals in stock also.

But please, don't send any more fascias for restoring, the shed is FULL!

Sneak peak at this early HK Flexdrive Instruments speedo that Chris sent in. To say it was in poor shape is an understatement. Normally we don't restore Flexdrive units but this is a challenge I'm not walking away from.

60 instruments stripped, housings, faces and faceplates blasted, primed, 2k painted, refaced and 17 needles recoloured.

Now to service, repair, calibrate and assemble 60 instruments, recolour 40+ more needles and about 100 k***s to polish and re-ring 🙃

We have decal kits in stock for HK/T/G Holden and XR/T Falcon for you to do at home. All printed on 3M vinyl.

Something we've been working on Vintage Air slide control into LC Torana.

A little more tweaking to do, then we'll metalize and paint out the fascia and fit it all together.

In the meantime, anyone on the Sunshine Coast or surrounds have an LC in pieces that we can test fit it to before we complete it please? There's beer in it for your time.🍺🍺

Phil's modified HK GTS type instruments and fascias recently finished. Phil's car isn't a GTS but wanted that type of dash and instrumentation.

Another thing we're working on at the moment. HK tacho faces and bezels.

Ricky dropped off his HK fascias recently along with his tacho and an aftermarket face that he'd sourced. Being not very happy with the replacement face, striped out one of our own tachos and the face is currently now at the screen printers for artwork to be done so we can reproduce them.
The bezel on ours is damaged and Ricky's isn't much chop either. We'll have a go at reproducing those too.
The tacho housing is at the electroplaters (with a whole bunch of instrument housings) and we ordered 10 new tach boards earlier this week (there's a few here to be done).

We'll post progress up as we go.

Another HK GTS heater fascia fitted with Vintage Air slide controls 👌

We've tried to maintain that 1968 look with modern air conditioning as best as possible.

There's no modification required to the vehicle. This original, restored, but modified fascia, simply fits straight into an unmodified vehicle.

We can supply the faceplate to suit HK/T/G Kingswood & Belmont, HK/T GTS type and also one in textured black to suit GTS type fascias for you to modify and fit yourself. (We're working on vinyl for you HG guys.) Or we can do the whole job for you.

Well done to the HK/T/G Club of Queensland for their event yesterday at Rocklea.

Thanks to those who dropped by, had a chat and we appreciate all of the positive comments.

A huge thank you to Darren for your help and bringing the HT GTS down as part of the display. They seemed to have multiplied by the end of the day though. Only finished this interior a couple of weeks ago with restored fascias, instruments, k***s, re-dyed console, recovered crash pad and seats retrim (thanks Cam 👍) and carpet.
