We've changed printing companies recently as our old printer changed management and are now useless.

Wayne has printed all of the lettering on our woodgrain inserts, printed our HK Kingswood and Torana lettering, stubbie coolers etc and he is great.

We're almost due for another batch of instrument faces to be printed, so I spent half a day with him last week tidying up the files before we print.

This morning he printed us a few "clears" to place over the original faces to check the spacing heights. They're pretty bloody good 👌 The font isn't 100% but it's pretty bloody close.

We'll have 200KPH speedo, metric temp faces for HK available in a few weeks too. HT HG to follow when we get time.

HK tacho faces are almost done too.

Choke delete for HK Belmont, Kingswood and Monaro.
We've also printed these inserts with CHOKE lettering and choke hole for those of you who have a fascia with holes drilled in it from toggle switches etc.
We can now do something with those fascias with holes.

Gavin's HK GTS type instruments and fascias we recently finished.
Gavin chose to use our choke delete option for HK. We offer the instrument fascia woodgrain insert in multiple styles for the HK range, with choke font, without and with a complete choke hole delete as pictured.

Sunday afternoon experimentation.

A few of you have asked for satin black woodgrain inserts recently and we've listened.

After multiple vinyl samples we're pretty happy with this one. A roll was purchased and we experimented this afternoon and it's now ready to send to the printer tomorrow.

We'll have completed sets in a few weeks to suit HK HT HG GTS, Premier and Brougham.

If there's any interest, we can produce these for XR in Falcon, Fairmont & GT styles.

There's a couple of marks where the glue ate the metalizing off. (It's good stuff this glue, just don't get it where you don't want it 🙄)

First batch of HK HT HG crash pads have been repaired and recovered.

These are NOT vacuum formed, they are recovered.

This was a one off job lot. We "might" do another run next year in 2026.

Back on the tools this morning, much to my disgust 🤣, giving Matt's beautiful HK GTS a much needed tune.
Matt recently acquired his late uncle's pride and joy who passed away about 3 years ago. He's spent some time and money tidying up this old car in respect for his uncle. He corrected the paint, changed the 2000's 20" wheels and upgraded the fuel and ignition systems.

We've restored his dash fascias and console. Matt re-foamed his seats and replaced the carpet, had the dash painted etc. Today we sorted out his ignition curve, idle, primary and power valve circuits and improved it by 100% or more, working with the incorrect components previously fitted.

So happy you've ended up with your uncle's car Matt and I'm happy to be able to help get her up to the condition she deserves. Looking forward to seeing it cruising around.

Is there any interest for modified HK/T/G fuel gauges to suit fuel cell senders?

If we were to replace the movement in the gauge with a new VDO one compatible with a 0-90 ohm fuel cell sender, would anyone be interested?

If so, we'll get some happening in the new year on an exchange basis.

Matt's HK GTS we recently finished.

Full dash fascias, instruments and console restoration with our Blackwood type woodgrain.
All instruments were striped, serviced, refaced and calibrated. Illumination upgraded to LED. All fascias restored, woodgrain replaced and k***s refurbished. The radio received some attention too.
The console was striped, spent some time in the acid bath then re-dyed. Mouldings were also polished by Darrell the local metal polisher and quadrants restored with new woodgrain also. We also did the remove and refit.

Matt also replaced his carpet and re-foamed his seats. While the dash fascias seats and carpet were out, the steel dash face and column received a lick of paint also.

It really transformed this old car. She looks beautiful again 👌
