Introduction

Anthony Spinks or ‘Spinksy’ as he’s known , has called the Sunshine Coast home for the past 45 years.

As an avid surfer, ‘Spinksy’ took to reporting the daily surf conditions in 2007 at Alexandra Headland while managing his local business together with partner and love of his life, Emma.

The daily surf reports started out as You Tube videos, posted on the social media pages, which gained popularity amongst the locals, and a following ensued.

Local radio stations, approached Spinksy to broadcast his reports on air and you can tune into those reports via SALT 106.5 FM ( Mon-Fri 7am,12pm,3pm Sat-Sun 7am) ABC Sunshine Coast 90.3FM at 6.15am Mon-Fri. ABC Brisbane Saturday mornings.
