Merilyn Bullen AI Strategy | Workflow Transformation | Human-Centred AI Adoption. Most people and organisations know AI matters. I live it. This is not AI hype.

Helping individuals and organisations implement AI that reduces overwhelm, builds real capability, and actually gets used. Very few know how to implement it in ways that stick. I help both individuals and organisations close that gap. For individuals — I work with high-functioning people who feel overwhelmed by the pace of change. Together we build practical AI systems that save time, reduce cognitive load, restore clarity, and make life and work feel manageable again. For organisations — I work with founders, leaders, and teams to analyse workflows, identify AI opportunities, redesign processes, and implement solutions that increase capability without adding complexity. The focus is always on AI that people actually adopt and use. My background spans 25+ years across IT consulting, operations, and systems delivery — combined with training in mind-body science and human behaviour. That combination is what makes the difference: I understand both the technology and the humans who have to work with it. I run THCO — a company operated entirely by AI agents — which means I don't just advise on AI adaptation. This is practical implementation.

I discovered this at Mindvalley University and honestly couldn’t believe I hadn’t been using it for years.

You can use **Apple Notes to record + transcribe a talk on your Mac**, while still typing your own notes.

Then, when there’s a slide you want to keep, you can take a photo with your iPhone and have it drop **straight into the same note on your Mac**.

No AirDrop. No emailing photos to yourself. No random conference slides sitting in your camera roll for the next six months.

I made this little video to show exactly how to do it.

Such a simple workflow, but genuinely useful.

What other Apple feature am I probably completely underusing?

I learnt one of my favourite things at Mind Valley University from someone who wasn’t on stage.

I was sitting in a session, taking notes on my Mac, when I noticed the woman near me doing something slightly differently.

She was typing too.

But while she was typing, her Mac was also recording the speaker and transcribing everything into the same note.

I thought, oh… that’s clever.

Then a slide came up.

She picked up her iPhone, took a photo of it and put her phone back down.

A second later, the photo appeared inside the note on her Mac.

OK. Now she had my attention.

I leaned over and asked what she was using.

I was expecting some clever conference app I’d never heard of.

“Apple Notes.”

That was it. Apple Notes.

The app that has been sitting on my phone and Mac for years while I’ve apparently been using about 7% of it.

😂

It turns out you can record a talk directly inside a note on your Mac, have Notes transcribe it, and still type your own thoughts at the same time.

Then, whenever there’s a slide you want:

File → Insert from iPhone or iPad → Take Photo

Your iPhone camera opens.

Take the photo, tap Use Photo, and it drops straight into the note you’re already working in.

So instead of leaving a conference with:
notes in one place,
a recording somewhere else,
a folder of downloads,
and 47 photos of slides in your camera roll that mean absolutely nothing two weeks later…

you leave with one note.
Your thoughts.
The transcript.
The recording.
The slides you actually cared about.
Links.
Things you want to follow up.

All together.

And weirdly, that was what stayed with me.

Not because it’s groundbreaking technology. It isn’t.

It was because I already owned all of it.

There’s something slightly ridiculous about how quickly we’ll download another app, subscribe to another piece of software, or now ask AI to solve a problem… before finding out what the tools sitting right in front of us can already do.

So now I want to know what else I’ve missed.

If you use Apple products, what feature did you discover embarrassingly late?

Because apparently I need lessons. 😆

Something's shifting here — and I want to tell you why. 🤍

If you've followed me for health content, that's not disappearing. But I'm bringing everything together under one clearer focus:

Helping humans and organisations thrive in the age of AI.

Here's the truth — everything I care about connects.

My background in mind-body medicine taught me how humans adapt under pressure. AI is the biggest pressure humans have faced in a generation. And most people are navigating it without a map, losing time, losing clarity, and feeling increasingly overwhelmed by tools they were never taught to use.

That's what this page is now about.

Practical AI that saves you time. Cognitive performance. Life organisation. Health. And the systems that make modern life feel manageable again.

I also run THCO — a company operated entirely by AI agents. So I don't just talk about AI adaptation. I live it.

Same me. Clearer mission.

If you’re waking up drenched in sweat at night, your brain may be paying the price.

Sleep disruption is linked to higher dementia risk.

One reason hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be protective for the brain?
It helps stop the night sweats — so women can finally get uninterrupted sleep.

Sleep is not optional.
It’s brain maintenance.

Being busy and having a full cognitive load, doesn’t mean you’re productive and will most likely result in cognitive fatigue and poor decision making.
