Darrell from our partners Golf Programs Australia Incorporated will be on ABC Sunshine Coast at 7.45am this morning to talk about the charity Pro Am. Having their members with intellectual disabilities organising and working at the event is a world first for a PGA sanctioned professional event.

Hey guys, this morning at 7.45am Darrell Dalton will be interviewed by Alex Easton from ABC Sunshine Coast. The Subject? Our up coming Pro Am Glenview Golf Course Thursday 4th December 2025..

Wish Darrell good luck...

From Mooloolaba and the Spit to Woombye and the hinterland for client work, all while following up journalists, it's been a busy morning across the Sunny Coast. By the way, afterwards the Banh Mi was much needed.

It was great to see plenty of people around Mooloolah Valley Mitre 10 - Hardware and Landscape Supplies new garden centre opening weekend. The new garden centre is a real credit to them, and it was wonderful to have free snags and join in with the other community organisations and businesses who were involved.

Recent Penrith Panthers signing for 2026, and Beerwah Bulldogs halfback, Ellijah Birve was playing touch football with local kids and the guys from the men's mental health charity Grab Life By The Balls visited to support the event. Grab Life by the Balls will be holding regular 7am Friday coffee catch ups at Jones Street Kitchen from August 29. Local MP Andrew Wallace - LNP Federal Member for Fisher also dropped by.

And who doesn't love free Ice cream? The Mr Whippy Truck was organised by Jaclyn Marquis MX and sponsored by Westpac.

We are thrilled to be teaming up with the incredible team at Golf Programs Australia Incorporated (GPAI) to support their upcoming Pro Am.

If you don't know them, GPAI is a not-for-profit that's making a huge difference by providing inclusive golf programs and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

It's been a privilege to get to know the team and their members (pictured) over the last few weeks. We're inspired by their work and their dream of one day having a purpose-built golf facility to help even more people. They're truly breaking isolation and driving inclusion.

We can't wait to share more about GPAI and this special event in upcoming weeks.

📉 Struggling with Negative Public Opinion? 📉
Is your organisation or brand facing an uphill battle against a negative perception in the community? It's a tough challenge, whether that opinion has built up over time or stemmed from how you responded to a specific event.

At its core, negative public opinion is often about what values people think you stand for (or don't stand for).

👷‍♀️How do you fix it?

🎥📱🎙 Communication Strategy: If the perception in the community doesn't line up with the positives of your organisation, it is time to more effectively share your values through a robost communication strategy. That means developing a plan!

🚦🏢🌅Changing or Realigning Organisational Values: Sometimes, the issue runs deeper than communication alone. If the negative perception is rooted in a disconnect between your stated values and your actual actions, then a more profound internal shift in your organisational values might be necessary. Once you make those changes, then its time to develop your communication strategy to share it with the world.

If you want to work on developing a communication plan and executing your existing strategy, please reach out to McLoughlin Media and Communication Solutions.

A big shout out to the Brewdy coffee co. team who provided the needed morning caffeine at the Nambour Chamber of Commerce morning coffee catch up this week.

It was great to hear from the Chamber representatives, Ted O'Brien MP - Federal Member for Fairfax, Marty Hunt MP, Cr David Law - Division 10 and local business owners who presented. It's a thieving, informed and well connected business community.

The morning was held in the wonderful community gardens at Nambour Grown. If you haven't checked them out, then you need to drop by the Showgrounds.

Chris grabbed a quick selfie last night at LinkedIn Local Sunshine Coast with Tim from MULX, Greg from The Calamari Club and the organiser of the event Luke Hawley.

Chris and attendees heard from local video strategist Ben Amos, who offered a great presentation with practical tips and resources to enhance your video content.

Each month these events bring fantastic value in both networking and learning. They are a big credit to Luke and the rest of the team involved in putting them together.

🧐 Is Your Content Messaging All Over the Place? 🧐
Do you ever feel like your audience isn't quite sure who you are or what you truly stand for?

If your messaging feels inconsistent, it's often a direct result of not clearly and consistently sharing your values in your communication.

When your content contradicts itself or lacks a clear value-driven foundation, it creates confusion for your customers, community, and members. And what does confusion lead to? Trust issues. 😬

If this sounds familiar, it's time for a change! Developing a robust communication strategy is key. This means defining your unique narrative and values, then planning out your content to consistently share your story and what truly matters to you.
