My Honey, Mushroom & Walnut Cake took out First Prize at the Noosa Country Show!

Yes… you read that correctly — mushroom in a cake! 🍄🍯🌰

I love playing with ingredients that are a little unexpected, and creating food that makes people stop and think “Really? Does that work?”

Apparently, this one does! 😂

There’s something pretty special about taking a slightly quirky idea, trusting it, and seeing it sitting there with a blue ribbon in front of it.

Feeling just a little bit chuffed today. 💙
