Our people are breaking under the weight of fear, grief, and unanswered questions.
When an Anyuak policeman opened fire on Nuer government officials — injuring two and ending the life of one — a wound opened in our community that has not healed.
Since then, innocent Nuer men, women, and even children have been targeted and killed in Gambella town.
Families are burying their loved ones while the world watches in silence.
Every day, another mother’s heart shatters.
Every day, another family waits for justice that never comes.
Every day, the Nuer community wonders how long they must suffer without protection, without truth, without even a voice speaking for them.
This is beyond politics — this is human pain, human loss, and human dignity being torn apart.
We are pleading for urgent intervention, for justice to be real, and for the killings to end.
Our people cannot keep bleeding while leaders look away.
Let the truth be acknowledged.
Let the innocent be protected.
Let the suffering of the Nuer community be seen, heard, and answered.
