COOK ISLANDS 🇨🇰
I didn’t have enough clips for this trip only because it was such a short trip (2D2N) and I wanted to make the most of it by doing activities that I didn’t record.
Things to know before visiting the Cook Islands:
1. flies directly to the Cook Islands in approximately 6 hours from Sydney.
2. The only public transport is a bus, and it can be hard to get around because of how remote it is. Getting a motorbike driving license on the island would be a good idea.
3. There are many places to swim and snorkel, so prepare your snorkeling gear. I suggest wearing swimming shoes or fins to avoid hurting your feet on the coral.
4. The shops in town close at 5 PM, so if you want to check out the town, come before the evening.
5. Internet is quite limited here; roaming from Australian operators doesn’t work. You can either buy data for NZD $50/10GB or get WiFi from your resort, which is about NZD $45/1GB
