The Station
Tanumbirini Station offers an excellent location and a strong team culture. Mustering is mainly carried out on horses with helicopters and some motorbikes. We’re looking for motivated, adaptable people who enjoy the outdoors, work well in a team, and bring a strong work ethic.
Current Opportunities:
Experienced Station Hand:
- Solid background in station work with confidence around livestock
- Strong horse-handling skills highly regarded (mustering mainly on horses)
- Ability to operate machinery and follow safe work practices
- Trusted to work more independently and take on added responsibility
Leading Hand:
- A step up for someone ready to guide and mentor others
- Leads the team during mustering and daily operations
- Supports the Head Stockperson and Management in planning work
- Sets a strong example with practical skills, reliability, and leadership qualities
Station Support Person:
Great for a self-motivated, hands-on person with initiative who’s happy to “give anything a go.”
- Preparing guest rooms
- Gardening and lawn care
- Keeping social club & common areas tidy
- Caring for animals
- Assisting across station tasks as needed
