Robots are learning how to film. Learn what that means for creators and check out what's been keeping Kirsty & Suzie busy in the past few weeks in our latest newsletter.

It is a privilege to travel this wide brown land delivering training and Kirsty's taken an epic 12 flights (mostly on small planes) in the past 3.5 weeks, delivering 10 courses.

Kirsty and Suzie are just back from a fantastic two day course training Rangers in Pormpuraaw and are now taking a well-earned break.

They'll be back before you can say 'smartphone video'! - https://mailchi.mp/emotionvideo/emotion-news-and-tips-13055332

Congratulations to our latest graduates.

The Pormpuraaw Rangers just completed our 2-day Smartphone Video Workshop.

Their goal was to create a welcome video for visitors and they did it!

It was great to spend NAIDOC Week doing the work we love, empowering Indigenous Australians to capture and share their stories on country.

Our June ‘Munch & Learn’ workshops on ‘Mastering Digital Tools for Content Creation’ were full of energy, laughter, and lightbulb moments 💡

With 17 participants in Kuranda and 25 in Mareeba, it was a great day of learning, connecting, and discovering just how powerful digital tools can be for small businesses and creatives.

We loved seeing people meet fellow entrepreneurs, share stories, and get hands-on with apps and digital tools. Here’s just some of the amazing feedback we’ve had:

💬 “Clearly delivered useful information” – Shirley
💬 “Learning so much, it was really great” – Lisa
💬 “Very good, especially for beginners” – Patrick

eMotion Video Training & Production

eMotion Video Training & Production was born when two work colleagues and best friends were wanting to leave the pressured life of broadcast media and begun seeking self-employment. When they discovered many Cairns small businesses and entrepreneurs were not promoting themselves via online videos they decided to do something about it; Kirsty Nancarrow and Suzie Cray combined their enormous wealth of international broadcasting and video creation knowledge (after a combined 55 years of experience) into eMotion Video Training & Production.

What sets eMotion Video Traning & Production apart from other courses is the real hands-on experience and mentoring each participant receives during a workshop, whether that be face-to-face or online training. They cover an enormous amount of video concepts from creating story ideas and how to write a script to filming and editing the video on your mobile device.

You are given time to get creative on your own business productions as well as shooting and editing an entire video during the workshop. With free templates and tools to take home after every workshop, your marketing campaign explodes with eMotion Video.
