True peace has a name: Jesus Christ. ✝️🙏🏻

The Feast of Corpus Christi is a reminder that God is not distant — He is with us.

As Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament was carried through the streets of Punchbowl, hundreds followed in prayer, bringing their faith beyond the walls of the church and into the heart of the community.

A powerful day of worship, unity, and public witness to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. ✝️🙏🏻

“Behold, I am with you always.” – Matthew 28:20

In a moment rarely seen in modern Australia, 60 Catholic men carried a magnificent throne bearing Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament through the streets, after months of sacrifice, training, and preparation.

As hymns filled the air and hundreds followed in prayer, the procession became a powerful reminder that faith is alive, bold, and unashamed. A breathtaking public witness to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and a moment that left a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.

Jesus Christ walked the streets of Sydney, and His people followed.

The Men of Corpus Christi are ordinary Catholic men from different churches across Sydney who came together for something far greater than themselves- to carry the throne of Our Lord Jesus Christ through the streets during the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Behind this procession are months of sacrifice that most people will never see. Week after week, these men gave up their time with family, their rest after work, and pushed through exhaustion, injuries, rain, pressure, and long nights of preparation — all for one purpose: to honour Christ and help bring His presence into the suburbs of Sydney.

What makes this even more special is that this carrier, the first of its kind in Australia, was built completely from scratch for this very moment. Two men who carried the weight of making this vision become reality were Norman Bejjani and Charbel Tourk. Through faith, hard work, and countless unseen sacrifices, they gave everything to lead these men and make this procession possible.

This video is for every single man who stepped forward and said yes to serving God in this way. Not for recognition, not for praise — but out of love for Christ.

Thank you, brothers.

Your faith, sacrifice, and brotherhood are something truly inspiring to witness.

The final preparations are underway before one of the most powerful public processions takes place through the streets of Sydney on the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Over 60 men braved the rain and cold to train together, walking in unison as they prepare to carry the throne that will bear Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Behind these moments are months of sacrifice, dedication, blood, sweat and tears — all for the glory of God.

On Thursday, June 4, thousands of faithful from across Sydney will unite in this historic witness of faith, including the Maronite, Ukrainian, Melkite and Latin Rite Catholic communities. As the Church journeys toward the upcoming International Eucharistic Congress in 2028, this procession stands as a powerful reminder that Christ is truly present among His people.
