What if the First Fleet never made landfall? From composer Oliver John Cameron and Gamilaroi poet Luke Patterson comes ‘After the Shipwreck’, a new song cycle for tenor, viola and piano that describes nature’s forces, sits uneasily in the calmness that follows a catastrophe, and ponders life’s fragility in a world forever changed.

Australian composer and pianist Nat Bartsch performs Brightness in the Hills with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for the Classic 100 in Concert. This concert was filmed at Hamer Hall with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, which featured highlights from the countdown, conducted by Benjamin Northey.
