Hello Monday! Feedback matters: There’s feedback that helps you grow, and feedback that leaves you doubting yourself. The difference is simple: good feedback gives you something to work with, it’s thoughtful, clear, and helps you see your writing in a new light.
When we’re deep in the process, we often get caught up in our own head. Those doubts creep in:
Am I any good at this?
Does it make sense?
Will anyone care enough to keep reading?
As vulnerable as it feels, seeking feedback is essential. The key is choosing the right person, someone who can step into the shoes of your reader and really listen for your voice.
That kind of feedback is a gift. It sharpens your message, and reminds you why you started writing in the first place.
