The winter westerlies have returned and runway 25 is in use due to strong crosswinds on the parallel runways.
Coogee and Kingsford will have increased noise from arrivals and Rockdale and surrounding suburbs will have departing aircraft.

It’s going to be a rough day for air travel for Sydney. Winds of upto 45 knots (83 km/h)
South westerly winds and wet runway have necessitated use of the east westerly runway (runway 25).
