VAMPIRE CUP LEADERBOARD (END OF WEEK 2)

Well done all year groups across SUMS!! We are currently placed in the Top 7 at the end of Week 2 of the Vampire Cup, and trailing closely behind ANU in blood donations.

Central Clinical School has the highest donation rates accounting for over 40% of all SUMS donations. Northern, Nepean, Concord, Westmead, and Rural Clinical Schools – now it’s your turn!!

Just a reminder to please fill in the form for the inter-clinical school competition when you donate. Currently only 26% of our donors are filling in the form, which means those donations are counting towards your Clinical School – but the rest are not!

Link to the form here https://forms.gle/1nADk5rarvJ8bAAKA

If you have not donated during this competition period, we would highly recommend booking in a whole blood, plasma, or platelets donation when you can!

Keep up the amazing work!

💰IMPROVING PAID STUDENT PLACEMENTS💰

Do you want paid student positions at EVERY hospital?
Have a consistent structured program across Australia?

Well AMSA needs to hear from you 🫵

For anyone who’s completed AiMs over the last couple of years or has heard about the program, take 5 minutes to fill in the survey so AMSA can go to Canberra with evidence that you want these programs to STAY!

🏥 Have you been in a paid medical student position from 1st January 2022? 🩺 Or have you heard of them at your uni?

🤔 Have an opinion regarding the future of paid medical student positions? Do you think they should continue or not continue? Have a strong opinion regarding paid clinical placements? 💰

Have your say in a leading research that will report directly to the Federal Government and the Australian Medical Association, led by the Australian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA).

We are calling for paid medical student positions to the government but we need your evaluation! 🍊 Click here >>>> https://monash.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1GiQK5b8vuhGmKq
