We think it is the first time we have done an outside broadcast from the Sunshine Coast

Colin was aways turning up at the studio or ringing me from somewhere in Australia, where he was either always on tour or visiting and raising spirits in flood affected area like Alpha and Jericho, where he hitched a ride with the RAAF who were doing flood relief. I first met and worked with Colin in 1973 and since that time we've kept in regular touch. Along with may thousands of Australians whose passing leaves a gap in our lives.
As my friend John Singleton says no one was ever worse off for knowing Col Joye.
This is one of my favourite pics.

Macca will be broadcasting from ABC North Coast Lismore Studio on Sunday morning (29th June).
He will be outside from 7am if you would like to come and say G'day he would love to see you.

G'day,
This Friday is opening day of the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Macca will be on duty at the ABC's stand in the Fresh Food Dome right near the District Exhibits.
If you'd like to say g'day Macca will be there from 12 midday if you can come and say g'day.

We're in Tamworth this Sunday Australia Day in lower Peel Street outside the ABC.
Come along and say g'day to Australia and celebrate the wonderful country we live in.
Sunday with Macca, where everyday Australians are unique and special.
By the way bring a chair, couldn't get hold of the council.
I'd love to see you Peel Street on Sunday with Macca from 0530.

Just wanted to share with you a couple of things firstly Mark Campbell our vet correspondent and his creative method of stopping stink bugs on his citrus. If you missed the story it is on our podcast and see the attached photo.
Also have a look at Macca's grass tree spear, the one that is leaning over, like the leaning tower of Pisa. The spear itself must be at least 10 feet long. What a beauty!
And for those of you you have been asking about Macca's concerts at Christmas he has two concerts with his Gumboot Band and guests., both fundraisers
Firstly Laycock Theatre Gosford Saturday 21st December 2.30pm
and Richmond School of Arts Monday 23rd December 8pm
