Bokkerijders - Crush Kill Destroy

Sometimes the title tells you exactly what you are getting. Formed in Belgium in 2021, BOKKERIJDERS have little interest in arguing about genre boundaries – to them, it is simply METAL. Black metal may form the foundation, but influences ranging from AURA NOIR and SLAYER to TURBONEGRO already suggest that debut album "Crush Kill Destroy" will not play entirely by the rules. Set for release on October 23 via Personal Records, the album also carries particular significance as the final recorded work featuring lead guitarist Wouter Lemmens, who sadly passed away in September 2025. Raw, direct and seemingly built around riffs above everything else, let’s see whether "Crush Kill Destroy" lives up to its name.

Dopelord's first spell book is back in print

No band believes in the powers of the devil’s lettuce quite like DOPELORD. Since budding out of Poland in 2010, the stoner doomers have led children of the haze down the left-hand path. Now, ahead of their European tour with Monolord, the band are dusting off the first entry in their wickedly catchy spell book.

Dopelord are excited to announce that their new label home Season of Mist is reissuing their 2012 debut album, Magick Rites. Now back in print, with this reissue, fuzz worshipers everywhere can once again experience their first communion with the devilish masters of stoner doom.

“For most of us, Magick Rites was our first-ever recording session in a proper studio”, Dopelord bassist and vocalist Piotr Zin remembers. “The studio was located in Bialystok and belonged to some friends of ours, whose band we had previously played gigs with. We recorded these songs mainly for ourselves. We had no expectations whatsoever regarding how they would be received. Well, maybe with one exception - having a CD would make it easier for us to get gigs. But everything that happened afterwards was completely unplanned”.

Season of Mist will reissue Magick Rites on December 11, 2026.

NIGHTWISH Releases A Deeply Personal Journey With Monumental 30th Anniversary Collection THE GREATEST 30 YEARS ON EARTH

Symphonic metal legends NIGHTWISH have unveiled their most ambitious retrospective collection to date, The Greatest 30 Years On Earth, set for global release on December 11, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.

To celebrate the group’s landmark 30th anniversary, this text could go on listing gold and platinum awards, chart triumphs, the 50+ countries toured, the 9 million records sold, or do something that fits its main characters so much better.

Something creative, something personal. The Greatest 30 Years On Earth intends to give you just that.

Though not humble in format, this massive 4LP & Blu-Ray box and 3CD & Blu-Ray Earbook contains a detailed 2026 interview with Emppu and Tuomas. Together, they take you back to that aforementioned night in Kitee, Finland, reflecting humorously and honestly on the band’s incredible history. They open a treasure trove of private photos, accompanied by rare and unpublished behind-the-scenes images provided by long-term NIGHTWISH friends and collaborators.

To give fans yet another taste of what is in the box, the band has dropped the live video for ‘Tribal – Live in Amsterdam 2022.’

Mastermind Tuomas Holopainen comments:” Release your inner ape, enter the tribe, forget everything that is not now, and join the skeleton dance!”

Wage War Have A 'God Complex' & New Album 'Landfall' Out Now

Florida's WAGE WAR — Briton Bond [lead vocals], Cody Quistad [rhythm guitar, clean vocals], Seth Blake [lead guitar], Chris Ga***rd [bass], and Stephen Kluesener [drums] — recently announced their new album Landfall, which is out now in digitally via Fearless Records.

God Complex proves why the Florida band has ascended the metal ranks to become one of the most talked about bands in the genre. It's another sonically relentless anthem featuring gnashing and gnarly riffs, deep groves, and futuristic choruses that sound as thought they could bellow from stadium stages decades from now. It's all gas, no brakes on God Complex, which boasts a Goliath-sized breakdown that could level a city.
