FILM LOCATION WANTED – SYDNEY 🎥

We’re looking for a modest, aged apartment or house in Sydney for an upcoming short film, The Promised Land.

The ideal space should feel lived-in, with character and charm. Textured walls, faded wallpaper, old furniture, trinkets, family photos or anything that gives it history.

Key details:

Looking for a living room and kitchen with nostalgic atmosphere. Prefer natural light and built-in visual texture. Not a modern or renovated space; something humble, authentic and full of soul.

We’ll be filming for 3 days during the week of 14th July.

Here at Live Differently Productions, we are honoured to be collaborating with Dymocks Children's Charities 📚

This incredible organisation provides brand new books to disadvantaged children across Australia.

Despite recent improvements, literacy levels in Australia remain of concern, particularly amongst the most vulnerable groups in society.

In Australia, 1 in 5 Australian students are unable to read at a basic level.

Since 2000, Dymocks Children’s Charities have worked with communities to improve children’s literacy to support over 500,000 children around Australia to date.

We’re excited to bring this rewarding campaign to life 🎥

Live Differently Productions is on the lookout for talented individuals to join us in creating a powerful online content series centered around Mental Health. This project is deeply personal to us, driven by our commitment to raising awareness and sparking meaningful conversations about mental well-being.

🧠 Why Mental Health?

We believe that mental health is a topic that deserves more attention and understanding. Our content series aims to share stories, insights and experiences that inspire, support and inform. It's not just a project for us; it's a mission to make a difference in people's lives.

✨ About the Project:

- Apprentice Editor: We're a non-commercial initiative and our primary goal is to create a positive impact. At this stage, the role we’re looking to fill is voluntary, which means it is unpaid. We're all volunteers on this project, dedicating our time and skills because we're passionate about the cause. We’re looking for someone to come onboard for a commitment of 8-10 hours a week for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Our team on the ground in Tel Aviv, recently had the opportunity to visit Save A Child's Heart and witness the incredible work they do. This organisation provides life-saving heart surgeries to children from all over the world, without any discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity or religion. Seeing doctors from different countries coming together to help children in need left a profound impact on the crew.

“As I spoke to these doctors and heard about their experiences, I was reminded of the importance of accepting all humans for who they are. No matter our differences in culture, language or beliefs, we are all part of the same global community and it's our duty to support one another in times of need”.

In a world that can often be filled with prejudice and discrimination, it's heartening to see organisation’s like Save a Child's Heart leading the charge for a more equitable and compassionate future.

After this experience, we at Live Differently Productions are feeling more inspired and hopeful for what we can accomplish when we come together with open hearts and minds.

Hala Sbat and the Live Differently Productions team had visited Save A Child's Heart in Israel, an organisation that has performs life saving paediatric heart surgery on both Israeli and Palestinian children.

The 6,000th patient treated by this was a small boy called Mazan, from Gaza, whose life was saved by the selfless and dedicated efforts of these medical professionals. You can see more if Maza’s story here: https://youtu.be/GuZa7BV3EEc.

The work that "Save a Child's Heart" undertakes truly transcends boundaries and reminds us that compassion and empathy know no borders. We're honoured to be able to share this story and the inspiring work of this organisation with the world.
