I started .store after I gave birth to our first set of twins 3 years ago whilst moving back to Sydney from California because I knew I'd be less focused on my music and all focused on babies. It all began in a spare room at my parents’ house with a sleep training Ebook I wrote 2.5 years ago. We didn’t have a home, a car, or really anything at all. Then it moved into the garage when we bought our home … then grew into a storage unit with our growing vending company and now to our warehouse… so being in this space feels like a big step.
The flooring is colour Georgia, all done by ... Ask for John, he’ll make it super easy.
Next step is setting up the office space and deciding between desks or more of a dining style setup. I feel like traditional desks can be a bit too corporate and I want the team to feel cozy and chill. Then it’s getting everything off the warehouse floor and up onto the racking, locking in a proper picking and packing system… and eventually a forklift 😭 wish us luckkk!
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my ventures. None of this happens without the community.
And I have to say, my best friend Omar is an absolute weapon. He's been doing all the less fun and dirty work with the warehouse whilst I stay with the kiddos. He doesn’t believe in doing anything small or slow, which is equal parts terrifyinggg and inspiring. But he reminds me daily that life is short and you really just have to go for it. Thanks babe ❤️
