This week's program has been uploaded to the website. First airing on Radio Northern Beaches, this is a follow on from the last program about 1970 - this time focusing on the great Billy Preston!
He provided keyboard and backing vocals for many singers and bands - so this is a tiny snapshot of his career.

All ten tracks in the program come from 1970, which was an amazing year for rock music – based on the political events covering the world. 2025 feels like 1970 with similar issues bubbling away.

Another week has flown by - if rabbits can fly (!) - and another program delivered to the air by Radio Northern Beaches like a pigeon. Here is the recording:

We found a number of songs about wishes in the library including two songs with the same title – twice! Oh, and two albums with the same title released one year apart.

We have uploaded this week's program, our ninth with one track per decade from the 1950s to the 2020s, so eight great tracks to listen to - starting with a jazz great. First aired on Radio Northern Beaches

This is the ninth program with each track from a different decade. Starting in the 1950s with some jazz, we then move through the decades to the 2020s and some alternative rock.

We have uploaded this weeks great program that went to air on Radio Northern Beaches prior to a power failure - maybe it was that blew the fuse!
We started gently and finished with Malmsteen's neo-classical metal. Have a listen and see what you think.
