End of an era for this legendary burger joint in Newtown!

The iconic spot run by the amazing Steve and Maria has officially closed its doors and what a send-off it was!

Yesterday was unforgettable. We kicked things off at 12pm and wrapped up at 9:30pm after serving a massive 52 kilos of meat, thousands of milkshakes, and non-stop queues of loyal fans patiently waiting for one last taste.

The atmosphere? Absolutely electric. I even had people dancing on the pavement while they waited, it was that kind of vibe!

Huge thanks to Maria for the chance to DJ such a special day. The exposure, the new connections, and the love from the Newtown community were beyond anything I expected.

And now… bring on Wednesday night for the VIP party behind closed doors. Honestly? I’m scared (in the best way possible). Let’s gooo!

Always striving to learn and grow! Today I attended the Integrate Exhibition + Conference in Sydney and seeing the latest AV technology was absolutely mind-blowing — I felt like a kid in Toys “R” Us!

To all the DJs out there: take a good look at your current AV, PA, and lighting setups. Ask yourself — are you truly equipped to deliver a high-quality event or gig? Even down to your console table — if you’re still relying on the venue’s trestle table with a cloth to hide the cables, that’s just not cutting it. Especially when you’re charging solid $ for your services.

Earlier this month, I also had the opportunity to attend Beat Mix 2025 on the Gold Coast. I left with a stack of fresh ideas that I’m already weaving into my business strategy.

What an incredible weekend! Friday night was a full-house, sold-out gig at Bexley RSL — the energy was unreal! Then Saturday, I had the honour of performing at a private combined 21st celebration, entertaining over 450 amazing people across the weekend.

I truly love what I do. There’s nothing better than seeing smiles on faces and packed dance floors. Life throws challenges at us all, but music has this powerful way of helping us escape — even if just for a moment.
