Renay’s first state clubs championships companion

On Friday the 27th of July Renay and her team from Gladstone Gymnastics participated in their very first mag & wag state club championships at Logan sports centre.

All the girls that participated did and amazing job with the result of Renay’s team placing 7th in vault and 13th all round out of 33 teams from around Brisbane areas

This competition was an eye opener to Renay she couldn’t believe how big the place was and she couldn’t wait to get back to training to work on her skills to get better.

With another comp just around the corner, regionals in Yeppoon this Saturday. We are super proud of her achievements and now her dream is she wants to go to the Olympics one day.

Today Renay participated in gymnastics in Harvey bay this is first time at this gymnasium, The whole team did so well.

How cool is this old smelter site guys local and easy access it ha so much history and is a great little adventure right at our doorstep keeping the whole tribe entertained and learning about the local history so many questions still to be answered hear like why how who it’s crazy to imagine a whole town buzzing with excitement and chatter as the workers undertake a mammoth task
