Good morning Beloved:

Matthew 5:44 (KJV)
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you .

In this verse from the Sermon on the Mount, a collection of Jesus' teachings found in Matthew, we learn about how we are supposed to treat our enemies. At first glance, it can seem pretty counterintuitive! We are not supposed to treat them as they have treated us. Rather, we should love them, be good to them, and pray for them. Today, we'll talk about why this is so important.What comes into your mind when you read this verse? Several hurtful people flashed through my mind, and the thought of showing them love didn't feel so good in my heart. I felt like if I decided to show them love, that's like letting them get away with how they treated me—like I'm saying it was okay. How am I supposed to bridge that feeling with Jesus command to forgive?I believe it begins with an honest truth: No one gets away with anything. The Bible says that God is just and that He will not overlook our pain. It also reminds us that we will reap what we sow … if we sow seeds of meanness, we will eventually reap them. This truth can help us forgive because it reminds us that justice is not something we should exact from each other; it is God's job to make sure that all sin debts have been paid. In fact, they already are.
Jesus paid for every sin when He died on the cross. He has covered every iniquity in you and me once and for all. When we refuse to forgive, it is practically saying that Jesus' death on the cross was not a big enough sacrifice for sin. Jesus' death covered your sins—but also the sins of the many, many people who will harm you in your life. If those people come to Him and ask for forgiveness, Jesus will gladly forgive them.We know this because He has forgiven us. We have harmed God just as other people have harmed us, and yet He forgave us. People will hurt us, deeply, painfully, but when we use those instances to show grace, love, and mercy, we are helping them understand who Jesus is and reminding ourselves of the grace that He has already shown us. Indeed, it is only because of the forgiveness we have received that we are able to pray for, do good for, and love those who have hurt us.

Let us pray … 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Lord, please help me to forgive those who have wronged me. I don't want to be someone who seeks vengeance. Instead, like Jesus, I want to be an instrument of reconciliation and love. Help me to remember how Jesus has forgiven me, and to show that same mercy to other people. I love you, Lord. Amen 🙏

Greetings Beloved :::

Verse: "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace." 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)

Life isn’t measured by what you accumulate—it’s measured by what you give.

Every talent, every opportunity, every gift God places in your hands is meant to be a tool for His kingdom. Sometimes we get caught up thinking, “I’m too young. I don’t have enough. I’m not ready,” but God doesn’t call the equipped; He equips the called. He has placed you in this time, in this generation, with unique gifts, and He wants you to use them to bless others.
Serving God and others isn’t always comfortable. It might cost you time, energy, or even popularity. You may face misunderstanding or rejection when you do what is right. But the Bible shows us that those who live for God’s purposes leave a legacy that lasts far beyond their own lifetime. Think of the early church—they didn’t have fancy stages or massive platforms. They were ordinary people willing to step out in faith. They gave their time, their money, their lives to spread the gospel, and centuries later, their courage still inspires us.
Your impact doesn’t have to be loud or flashy. Start where you are. Start in your family, in your school, in your workplace, or in your neighborhood. Your acts of kindness, your words of encouragement, your faithfulness in small things—they matter. Every time you step out in obedience, every time you choose faith over fear, you are stewarding God’s grace in a way that transforms lives. You never know how one small act can ripple through generations.
I want to remind you of something powerful: living a life of purpose is about being willing to be spent for God’s glory. It’s about saying, “Lord, I don’t know what this will cost, but I want my life to count for You. I want to leave a legacy of love, faith, and obedience.” Your life can be a beacon of hope, a testimony of God’s power, and a vessel for revival if you are willing to give yourself fully.

Let us pray:::

Lord, teach me to steward every gift You have given me. Help me serve others with joy and humility, and let my life reflect Your love and grace. Give me courage to step out, even when it’s hard, and to trust that You are using my life for Your purpose. May I not seek comfort for myself, but a lasting impact for Your kingdom. I give You my heart, my time, and my gifts. Use me, Lord, so that others may know You and your love … Amen 🙏

Greetings Beloved:::

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)

by Abby Kuykendall

King Solomon, known for his unmatched wisdom, vast wealth, and influence, wrote those words. At the height of his reign, Solomon had everything. Yet even he concluded that the only path worth walking is the one God directs.
Solomon likely saw how easily human logic can lead to loneliness, isolation, and disobedience. Through it all, he came to these three conclusions:
Trust God.
Submit with your whole heart.
Don’t rely on what you think you know.
That word “trust” in verse 5 stopped me. Not “hustle,” “impress,” or “grasp for control.”
Trust, submit, and obey.
That’s when I felt the nudge to invite someone over, not to fix my loneliness but to follow God’s lead. It would not be the Pinterest-perfect kind of hosting with themed napkins and curated desserts, but it would be the kind of hospitality Jesus practiced. The kind that makes space for people.
So I texted a neighbor I barely knew, made soup, and lit a candle. When she arrived, it didn’t magically cure my loneliness, but something shifted. I felt seen. Not necessarily by her but by God.
That’s what obedience does. It may not erase the ache, but it opens the door for healing.
The truth is that more online followers or prettier tablescapes can’t solve loneliness. But there’s hope in the sacred space of surrender. Obedience isn’t always loud or public. Sometimes it looks like setting one extra place at your table, even when your heart feels empty.
Hospitality, in its truest form, isn’t about showing off. It’s about showing up for others, for yourself, and most of all for God. The table doesn’t have to be full for God to be faithful. He’s already there, in the quiet, in the ache, in the trust it takes to say “yes” to the invitation.
Even Solomon knew that trust is the only plan. He saw what happened when people leaned on their understanding, and he learned firsthand that obedience to God is the only path that leads to peace.
If the wisest man on earth needed to submit his plans to God, surely we can too. Even if it starts with nothing more than an empty chair and a mustard seed of faith (Matthew 17:20).

Let us pray 🙏🙏🙏:::

Father, remind me that You see me. Give me the courage to obey when it’s easier to retreat. Use my small acts of faith to build the kind of community that reflects Your love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Greetings Beloved:::

Psalm 40:8 (KJV)
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within thy heart .

This Psalm tells us that as we grow in our relationship with the Lord, we will begin to delight in following what He has told us to do. His law is written on our hearts, and we will happily live it out.

Sometimes the Lord wants us to do difficult tasks… tasks that could label us as outsiders. This might make us feel uncomfortable or afraid, or require a lot more courage than we're used to summoning. However, as we begin to obey His will, we will see that even if He asks us to do things that we do not understand, He is always faithful in honoring our obedience.

This means we can respond to His prompting with an immediate, "Yes, Lord". We know that He will honor obedience, and we do not want to disobey Him. Yes, it can be difficult to find joy in the actual act of obedience but we obey anyway. Obedience is still an act of faith, even if we do it in fear or uncertainty.
Having the Lord's law written on our hearts, as the verse says, helps us obey Him. We learn how to apply His law to our lives by actively studying the Bible. It's important to have a time each day where we sit down and allow the Lord to pour into our hearts. If we don't, we can easily get swept up in the things of this world—and let opportunities for the Lord's law to be affirmed in our hearts pass by. Over time, we can become insensitive to His law if we do not feed it with the Word, so making that a habit is important.

As we grow in our relationship with the Lord through prayer, Bible study, and active obedience, we will delight in His will.

Let us pray 🙏🙏🙏:::
Dear Lord, I thank you that your will is so sweet. Sometimes it is hard to follow you, Lord, but is it worth it because nothing compares to communion with you. Nothing compares to knowing that I am living for you. Please help me to live for you. In Jesus' name,Amen

Greetings Beloved :::

John 12:46 (KJV)

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
In this verse, we see the transformative effect of a relationship with Jesus. We were once in darkness, and now we are in the light. Jesus came into the world as a light, taking us out of the darkness once and for all.

That darkness is both sin and a lack of knowledge about the Lord. We didn't know the power of the Gospel until we experienced it, and we were not able to say no to sin until Jesus broke the chains it had on us. When Jesus came into the world, He revealed God's plan of redemption for the whole world. He set us free from sin once and for all.

When we're struggling with persistent sin in our lives, we can remember that the Lord has set us free from it. The Holy Spirit dwells within us. He gives us the strength to be different from who we once were. He reveals to us the love that the Lord has for us, and this love is much more captivating and exciting than anything else that the world has to offer. Because of Him we walk in the light.
The Bible is living and active upon our hearts. It helps us step into the light about who God is and what He is like. Opening its pages and making the decision to read so we can get to know God is like turning the lights on in a dark room: It dispels the darkness and illuminates the truth. It will help us see the Lord as He is, and we will not abide in darkness when we're growing in our knowledge of the Lord.

Today, we can make the decision to no longer drift into the darkness. Instead, we can step into the full knowledge of Jesus, walking in holiness and purity, and experience the illumination of the soul that Jesus has for all of us.

Let us pray 🙏🙏🙏:::

Dear Lord, I thank you for having more than darkness for me. I thank you for being the light that came into the world and for penetrating the darkness in my heart. You are so good to me, and I don't deserve it. Help me to walk in your ways, In Jesu name Amen 🙏🙏🙏
