The most credible sighting of the supposedly extinct Tasmanian tiger (thylacine) you’ll ever hear about. ⁉️

The 1982 Hans Naarding sighting is widely regarded as one of the most credible reported encounters with a thylacine (Tasmanian tiger) after the species was officially declared extinct. 💔 In March 1982, Hans Naarding, an experienced wildlife ranger, was sleeping in his vehicle in this location when he awoke around 2 a.m. and shone a spotlight into the surrounding bush. He reported observing an adult male thylacine from about 6–7 meters away for several minutes, noting its sandy coat, 12 dark stripes, and distinctive jaw-gaping behavior.

Because of Naarding’s expertise and confidence in his identification, authorities conducted an extensive year-long search of the area using cameras and tracking methods, but no conclusive evidence was said to have been found. 🐾

Walking over what looked like a sleeping dinosaur, a very intense moment with one of the planet’s most incredible predators, the Komodo dragon. 🐉🌍✨

Found only on a handful of remote Indonesian islands, Komodo dragons are the world’s largest lizards, growing up to 3 metres (10 feet) long and weighing over 70 kilograms (150 pounds). Their lineage stretches back millions of years, with giant ancestors that evolved in Australia and grew to over 7 metres (23 feet) in length.

This massive male Komodo dragon was parked up right across the only entrance to the island while we were searching for pit vipers. 🤎 It made for an epic way to enter this ancient place.

3 Days BULLSHARK ISLAND Survival | No Food, Water or Shelter

We survive for three days in a remote section of Australian mangroves, surrounded by bull sharks, stonefish, mud crabs, stingrays, and other deadly creatures. Using only primitive methods, we build basic tools, spearfish and cook our catch, catch mud crabs with our bare hands, and sleep on the ground.
