Last week we had the pleasure of attending the latest RWIB – Redlands Women in Business event, hosted by the Redlands Chamber of Commerce. And what a fantastic night it was!

The room was full of energy, connection, and some of the most inspiring women driving business forward in our community. RWIB events always deliver — great speakers, real conversations, and a welcoming space for anyone looking to expand their knowledge, grow their business, or simply connect with like-minded locals.

At Redlands Coast TV, we love capturing the heart of our community, and nights like this remind us why the Redlands is such a special place to live and work. From the networking to the stories shared, this event had it all — and we’re excited to showcase a little of the atmosphere in the video we’ve just posted.

Saturday night we had the privilege of capturing a truly special cultural moment here on the Redlands Coast.

Straddievarious Gallery, led by Deb McCann, hosted the very first interstate exhibition from the Gooniyandi artists of the GIRRWARLI Art & Cultural Centre Inc. — a 100% Aboriginal-owned, not-for-profit enterprise representing the Gooniyandi people from the remote Mueller Ranges in the Kimberley, WA.

Their works carry more than colour and form — they carry 65,000 years of story, language, tradition, and connection to one of the world’s last great wilderness frontiers.
Every piece created by Girrwarli artists supports families, preserves culture, and helps strengthen a community working to build a brighter future through art, education, and self-determination.

We were honoured to have Redland City Mayor Jos Mitchell attend the exhibition and share her support for this important cultural exchange.

We filmed this spooky setup last year for Redlands Coast TV, and trust us — it’s even bigger (and scarier) this time around!
They’ve added an extra 3 hours on Saturday night (Nov 1) after last year’s massive crowds, so no excuses — come get scared silly!

Please try to save these buildings and retain them so future generations can appreciate old Cleveland instead of them having to go to the library and see how short sighted this generation have been".
