Let’s stop mistaking stress for enthusiasm

Iv had to ask myself this a bit lately. What keeps me up, makes me no money, has no point -

What gets up up, keeps me going, makes the money.

Just a couple of things to eliminate like the horse clinics for example, a lot of time organising and last minute no shows etc compared to running Tusik and selling beef.
Ching Ching return for energy put in.

Be solid in your goals and flexible in your method always! Adapt, sell the s**t idea. Keep rolling!

Some time it’s hard to tell, is it my paradym telling me to pull up, is this a test to see if I’ll stick it out or is this my intuition the universe saying why bother with this.

Is it just me or here in Australia does it feel like you’re way more likely to get a clap for building a cattle yard than building an app?

I don’t know who needs to hear this very unpopular opinion, but…………maybe your teacher was just a teenager that went straight to uni then sat on a 80 odd thousand a year wage half her life and didn’t like how you think cause they couldn’t keep up with you.

Maybe just go do a stint in a mustering camp and live for free and learn some s**t, meet some people and find out who you really are!

Is Your Head Flat Bikky & Should You Slow It Down?

Im erratic as f**k this morning I wanted to be an adult and have a sunday like in the movies have a coffee with an empty brain while i did my washing, sheets and floors and then started on my to do list……. instead I got annoyed with that make up brand idea that woke me up again at 4am and when i went looking for manufacturers i found they also do horse supplements and products so it naturally rolled into a horse feed lick that targets all the things we need on the Nq coast and is easy to feed for inconsistent / busy people who just want to put it out for their young horses to grow. Horse pallets…. Dogs pallets, naturally turned into me then also revisting how to use off cuts/bones to create a label of dog food.

Which all lead me to asking chat GpT why am I like this why can’t my brain just stay, without a to do list i would literally end up in Mexico on a casual Sunday picking out my next Stonker grizzleys for TUSIK FLAT

This is why I make to do lists and why today I will be spraying weeds rain pending, putting together flat packs for the shop and moving furniture followed by some arvo photos of Tusik products and ride sale horses instead of booking a flight to Mexico. Its definitely gotten better sincee I took Tusik stock back and god knows Its been a little iver whelming with all the things i didnt realise were here and things that need photographing / counting adding to the webpage but it has been annoying me so so much that i have focused on it every day and just by being here and putting the energy in Tusik sales have started to look a bit likee they did a few years ago again 💙 im a big believer in energy and the universe telling you when your on track and when i am sticking to a task and being focused the webpage goes CHING i sound crazy hey, keeps me on track though.

distracts me from what i am doing.

Ironically this Flat Bikky phase of life is teaching me how to get there faster has a lot to do with what to say no to and the answer to that is….. anything that doesn’t get you closer to your goals. Iv never been scared to say yes. Saying no on the other hand is a real problem for me.

Then you end up being flat out running around for know good reason. Setting up things that last and cutting out the detours that’s. Learning to say no and put up boundaries is my biggest weakness and if done it a few times in the last month or so and I can tell you; people do not love it. Why would they, i put a barb wire fence up over night and they ran clean into it! They will learn it’s there! I just need to keep it strained and keep the stragglers out! That goes for wayward ideas, off brand ambitions and uninspired company!

Goals, mine are simple. To be simpler…….be a funner mum, have Addi riding her horse daily instead of just watching me do it as a job, take her to dance lessons cause that girl can boogie! (Anyone know a dance school in the Burdekin?

Train a rope horse (learn to rope)
pick up at more rodeos
Consistently sell my clothes and beef and do my own epic marketing videos and photos 💙 look after my cows and improve my paddocks & Reno my house and verandah
Podcast weekly
Sell epic properties starting with the Woodstock giru road (got my realestate license)

Say no to anything other than that except maybe the odd catching job or speying mission to get my fix of old friends and the good old days.
