Well today we were just around the corner… so I finally fixed that. 🌯👌

Had to stop in and grab her one — I might be back in the good books now 😂

Sometimes the simplest meals are the best 🍝

Fresh homemade fettuccine, a good spaghetti bolognese sauce, and dinner is sorted 👌

There’s just something different about pasta when you make it fresh at home.

Just catching up with a mate for a coffee at Millie J & Co North Shore and ended up grabbing their $15 weekday special 👀

Today it was any of the classic Benedicts, so I went for the Chipotle Chorizo Benedict 🌶️🍳

Chorizo, roasted capsicum, spinach, poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise. Really tasty, plenty of flavour, and the latte was spot on as always ☕👌

Normally $28.50, today $15. Can’t complain about that!

KFC have officially taken the pickle obsession too far… or have they? 😂🥒🍰

I went back to try the Pickle Zinger Burger and the brand-new Pickle Cheesecake.

The Zinger actually made sense to me… spicy chicken, pickles, pickle ranch, no problem.

But pickle cheesecake? That’s where things got interesting 😂

This Cuban sandwich was seriously good!

Stopped into Civil Road Espresso in Garbutt and tried their Cuban sandwich along with a coffee.

Crispy on the outside, packed with flavour, beautiful pork, pickles, mustard and melted cheese all working together. Honestly, one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve had around Townsville so far. 👌

And the coffee? Smooth, balanced and not too bitter. Definitely hit the spot. ☕️

These look like real fruit… but they’re actually desserts 😳🍏🍋🥜

I headed to Cedric Corre Patisserie in Hermit Park to try their fruit lookalike desserts, and honestly, the detail on these is crazy.

Apple, lemon, mango, peach, cherry and even a peanut, all with different fillings inside.

Some looked almost too good to cut open
