Can’t stop. Won’t stop. ✋

But PLEASE work with an editor so you can stop doing these things:

👉 excessive dialogue tags - “Stop it,” she said angrily.

👉 comma misuse! (Over comma-ing, under comma-ing, no comma in dialogue!)

👉 clichés(we’ve heard ‘em all before…. See what I did there? 🙃) “Her heart pounded like a drum.” 😴

👉 crazy conjunctions (never ending sentences, for example !)

👉 plot holes 🕳️ (what TF happened to the baby after that 11 month pregnancy!? 🤰 😂)

👉exposition dumps → Chapter one opens with three pages describing the history of everything that happened in your life. We. Want. Action! And NOW!

💕 You don’t have to be an expert at this stuff. Just hire someone who can help you sort it out. Also: self review! ###

Have you ever felt the pull to write a book - but kept putting it off because it just… didn’t feel like the right time? Or every time you tried you just froze? Or couldn’t carve the space out to do it?

You aren’t alone.

I’ve been chatting with so many beautiful souls lately who have big words waiting inside them — but time, fear, energy or cashflow keep them pushing it to “later” or struggling it alone.

(Which is a death wish for creatives / perfectionists / mani generators / neurospicy types like me usually!! 🙈)
