99 Bends started back in 2017 as a side hustle for Christine, on top of her role in economic development and tourism. Initially offering social media account management and advice to West Coast businesses and community organisations, things got a bit crazy in 2019 (that's a whole other story!) and our plans took a detour. In 2020, with a need for a distraction and a way to refocus (and with a lot

of encouragement from a then 8 year-old), we started creating custom products - sewing, making and discovering new interests which led to becoming regulars at the Queenstown Tasmania Community Market.

2021 has seen more changes and opportunities to return to consulting, the side hustle now becoming the main hustle! As always, we're only a message or email away if you have any questions or would like to discuss how we can help you out.

After seeing my sister Jodie make some absolutely beautiful cookies over the years, we decided to have a go ourselves.

Here are some Easter cookies, made by Christine and her mum, decorated by Christine and Sydney.

Definitely not up to Jodie's standards but happy with our efforts 😊

Happy Easter 🐰

Thank you everyone who ordered with us in the lead-up to Easter - we love cooking and are super appreciative of your support 💜

We do need to remember to take pics of our products though 🙄 - here's the only photo we took from this order, of our chocolate crackle nests, filled with coconut and chocolates (including mini Easter chocolates made by us) 🪺 🍫

Update: Thank you!

Dozens of biscuits, hundreds of pieces of Russian Toffee and not forgetting the yummy chocolate spriders - all cooked, packaged and delivered to customers in Queenstown and Burnie.

We are hugely appreciative of your support, with markets not possible for the next little while we might keep offering some online orders - we're also able to consider orders by request (with enough notice) :)

We've been a bit quiet of late - with Christmas, family time, work and starting Year 7 (😳) there hasn't been much time for making and creating.

That said, we recently tried our hand at making a new product, something we've wanted to do for a while now - Dog Biscuits 🐕🐾🍪

Made from natural ingredients, this batch was rolled oats, pumpkin and peanut butter (the all-natural, dog-friendly kind of course), and they've been a hit with our little Gracie and some of her friends.

We've got some other recipe variations to try also. Biscuits last one week in an airtight container, 2 weeks in the fridge or for a couple of months in the freezer.

Wow. We need to take a breath.

What a market!!

Thank you to the many people who supported our stalls today at the Queenstown Tasmania Community Market - we sold out of many items and loved chatting to everyone.

Sydney has been busy prepping for the Queenstown Tasmania Community Market this Sunday - and the Magic Reindeer Food is all ready! 🦌

The Christmas Market will be at the Memorial Hall from 11am-1.30pm.

Thank you to everyone who placed an order - they are ready and can be collected from Sydney at the Market, or by arrangement. There is limited stock available for on the day purchase ($4 a bag).

*the Reindeer Food is safe, no glitter etc as Sydney didn't want to hurt any other animals that might come across it 🙂
