Anyone Waited 8 Hours at the Hospital ER? 🤔

My husband Jerny had this sudden stabbing pain on his left back which made us go to the ER (Emergency Room) of our local public hospital. We got in 4:30 pm. The triage is really quick as he immediately got checked as soon as we got in.We also didn't wait too long for the initial ECG and blood test. BUT the doctor assessment is the one where we really had to wait tooooo long. 😭

This hospital is really good in setting expectations. I forgot what time it was when they made an announcement that the hospital is at full capacity and there are no beds available. Totally understandable as it's a public hospital and we didn't have to pay anything to be checked. So we just kept on waiting and waiting. They gave FREE sandwiches which I really appreciate. There's also a nurse that kept on monitoring the BPs of the patients to make sure everyone's still all good. Another also offers blankets as it tends to be a bit cold in the ER.🥶

The hubby got called around 10pm but he also just still waited inside for the doctor to discuss his blood and ECG results. He got his XRAY done at 12:06 midnight and that's the second round of waiting for us.

They just gave these free juice. I got 2 apple (1 for me, 1 for the bubba but she doesn't like it so will give this to the hubby)

Time check 12:33am and the husband is finally done. Woohoo. Time to go home.

And yes, we did not pay anything. FREE lahat even the parking (mabilis pa internet)😁. Siguro it's just one of those days na sobrang short staffed ang hospital. Still very thankful sa service.
