🖤 The Alternative Market — 3 Years in 🖤
We’re now in our third year, and honestly… this space has become so much more than just a market.
It was built to be somewhere different — a place where you can show your wares, no matter how weird, wonderful or outside the norm, and be accepted for it.
A place where people can come, express themselves and feel comfortable doing so.
Over the years I’ve poured a lot into The Alt — time, energy, heart… and I’m really proud of what it’s grown into.
The last year, especially, has been tough behind the scenes. But through it all, the support from this community has meant everything. I appreciate every single person who has backed not just me, but what The Alt stands for.
At its core, The Alt will always be about being all-inclusive, and about treating each other with respect and kindness.
That hasn’t always been easy, and it hasn’t always been perfect… but I will always make the decisions needed to keep this space safe, fun and supportive for everyone involved, including myself.
