BENDIGO SHOWGROUNDS REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE: The City of Greater Bendigo is disputing a decision by the State Government to release documents relating to the funding it received to undertake "extensive community consultation" on the Bendigo showgrounds master plan. What is it council does not want the public and media to see?
All stories written on this project and the absence of genuine consultation have been submitted to the Victorian Government’s Legislative Council Environment and Planning Committee’s Inquiry into Community Consultation Practices. The submissions have been accepted and will be published soon on the inquiry website.
