Three years ago this month, we lost a truly beautiful soul… Maxine Klibingaitis.
Maxine passed away suddenly on 17th April 2023. We spoke the day before and she was so excited for the future and we laughed... a lot. She was planning a party where she wanted to invite everyone she loved - just because...! She had booked the venue and was planning it for a few months time... She was so excited!

I miss our weekly chats. I miss that hearty, infectious laugh. I miss her… every day.

Maxine was an absolute legend of Australian television, with an incredible body of work including Neighbours (as Paul Robinson’s first wife), The Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers, Round The Twist, and so many more. She is fondly remembered by many as Bobbie Mitchell in Prisoner — a role that left a lasting mark.

We recorded this episode a year before she passed… and while it was special at the time, it has now become something truly priceless.

Maxine was a bright light. A genuinely beautiful person. And someone I will always be proud to call my friend.

🎧 This episode is a tribute, a memory, and a chance to hear her voice again
