Episode 13 of Yarn About You features Michael Loney, a versatile Australian actor of film, television and theatre, who’s career spans across the globe.

His time in the UK included working on classic television shows like Robin Of Sherwood, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Howards Way, Sorry (with the legendary Ronnie Corbett from the 2 Ronnies) and a stint on the epic British Soap CORONATION STREET.

Since returning to his home in Perth, Western Australia, Michael has appeared in a multitude of films, television shows and theatre productions – as well as playing a significant role behind the scenes with his work as Vice Chair with the Artist Relief Fund WA - a registered charity that provides critical financial assistance to entertainment professionals - including actors, creatives and crew - who experience a crisis or emergency.

I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Michael Loney earlier this year for a chat.

Episode 012 of YARN ABOUT YOU features West Australian entertainment legend Ivan King.

Ivan is also the founder of the Museum of Performing Arts which is located downstairs at His Majesty’s Theatre in Perth City, who in 2016 received a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the performing arts as an historian and archivist.

It was an absolute pleasure to sit down for a chat with Ivan! What amazing memories he has of his incredible life! I hope you enjoy our yarn! Clay 🙏🎭⭐🙏

Vivienne is an established award winning Actor, with a vast array of credits in film, television and theatre. She is also a respected voice-over artist, Theatre Director, Voice coach, Acting teacher & Yoga Instructor.

I first met Vivienne in 1991 in Perth, Western Australia, while she was performing in a play that I enjoyed so much, I had to see it again!

We have crossed paths a few times over the decades through connections with mutual friends and kept up to date with life over the years through Social media, but it was wonderful to visit Vivienne in early 2025 for a yarn at her beautiful home in the stunning Margaret River region on Western Australia.

Vivienne Garrett is a talented, kind, creative person who I am very proud to call my friend. I hope you enjoy our yarn! 🙏
