With opening night just around the corner, we want to congratulate Jessica on being part of this fantastic production. All those rehearsals, hard work and dedication are about to pay off!

We’re so excited to share a very special achievement from Anita Parakh-Morgan, who performed with The Australian Ballet in their recent production of Romeo & Juliet at QPAC. 🎭

For Anita, this was a major opportunity — stepping onto the QPAC stage and becoming part of one of Australia’s leading ballet companies for such a beautifully produced work.

Anita performed in a supernumerary role, which is a supporting performance role within a production. Supernumeraries help create the world and atmosphere of a story, appearing alongside the principal performers and dancers as part of the action on stage. While they may not be one of the principal characters, these roles are an important part of bringing a production to life and require professionalism, preparation and the ability to work seamlessly within a large-scale production.

For Anita, this experience was about so much more than simply being on stage. It was an opportunity to work within a professional company environment, experience the scale and discipline of a major ballet production, and perform in one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues.

Congratulations to QLD Talent, Alexis Beebe, who was booked on a recent theatre production, playing Maria in The Revisionist at PIP Theatre.

The Revisionist was an independent production, and while it was an unpaid project, it proved to be a really valuable experience for Alexis — with her performance receiving some lovely feedback from audiences and reviewers.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE WE GO! 🫖🐇

We’re excited to share that QLD Talent Emerson Baines has been booked to play Alice in Black Ledger Productions’ brand-new interactive theatre experience, The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, coming these September school holidays on the Sunshine Coast!

Step into a world where nothing is quite as it seems, tea is always being poured and every guest becomes part of the adventure. This is theatre with a twist, bringing audiences right into the action and giving Emerson the chance to step into the wonderfully curious world of Wonderland.

We’re so excited to see Emerson take on the iconic role of Alice and bring her own energy and personality to this immersive production.

Congratulations, Emerson! We can’t wait to see you fall down the rabbit hole. 🩷

HUZZAH! Congratulations to QLD talent, Sir Matthew Keating ⚔️

Matthew recently took on the role of Herald at the Southern Realms Festival in Boonah over the weekend, helping bring the medieval world to life across a packed weekend with action, spectacle and plenty of armour!

With jousting, horseback archery and Buhurt (medieval full-contact combat) on the program, there was certainly plenty of action for Matthew to be part of! As Herald, he helped set the scene and keep the crowds engaged throughout the festivities.

We love seeing our talent take on opportunities that are a little outside the usual acting brief. This was a fantastic chance for Matthew to combine performance, character work and live event experience in a unique setting.

Well done, Matthew — what a fun role to add to the books! ✨

✨ Congratulations to NSW talent, Emma Worrall, who is currently understudying the role of Catherine and Ensemble in A View from the Bridge at New Theatre in Sydney. 🎭

Arthur Miller's powerful and timeless drama is running from 4 August – 5 September 2026, and we're so proud to see Emma involved in such an iconic production.

Understudying is an incredible opportunity that showcases an actor's versatility, preparation and professionalism and it’s wonderful to see Emma continuing to build her theatre experience as part of this production.

✨ SHARI HALL IS IN THE SPOTLIGHT ✨

We’re so excited to celebrate Howell talent Shari as she makes her Coolum Theatre Players debut as Sergeant ‘Mac’ MacDonald in Women in Uniform!

This role marks Shari’s return to Sunshine Coast community theatre, almost a decade after appearing in Noosa Arts Theatre’s JERRY’S GIRLS — and what a return it is!

Shari brings an incredible wealth of performance experience to the production. Her professional theatre credits include touring Australia as the Professional Woman in Menopause The Musical, as well as appearing as The Judge in Fever’s immersive production The Jury Experience.

On screen, Shari has appeared in the Australian feature film Seriously Red, television series including Joe vs Carole, and a number of national commercial campaigns.

A lifelong singer, songwriter and performer, Shari has also written, recorded and produced four albums of original music — Perfect Love, Faith, Three and Hope — and authored the musical memoir Perfect Love: One Woman’s Journey from Flesh to Faith. Her journey has taken her from regional theatre in the United States to professional stages and screens across Australia.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Shari bring Sergeant Mac’s strength, humour and humanity to the stage alongside this talented cast and company.

Coolum Theatre Players have definitely brought out the big guns for this one… pun intended! 😉

Today we're celebrating one of the absolute stars behind the scenes at Howell Management – our amazing Admin & Talent Support Queen, Mariz!

If you've ever had a question answered, a problem solved, or wondered how everything somehow stays organised, chances are Mariz had something to do with it! From supporting our talent and team to keeping us all on track, she does it all with patience, kindness, and a smile.

She's the definition of reliable, always ready to lend a hand, juggle a million things at once, and keep everything running smoothly. We honestly don't know what we'd do without her!
