🍔 On this day in 1900, Louis Lassing of Connecticut is said to have created what we now know as the hamburger — a humble beef patty between two slices of bread that would go on to conquer the world! 🌍

Of course, others claim it was first served at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, or even earlier by Charlie Nagreen in 1889. But no matter where it began, we’re just glad it exists! 🙌

On this day in 1981, Australian Crawl released their second studio album Sirocco, and it stormed the charts like a coastal breeze.

Named after the desert wind, Sirocco topped the Australian Albums Chart for six straight weeks, spent eight months in the Top 20, and was the #2 album of 1981 nationwide. It was later certified 4× Platinum, solidifying its place as one of the great Aussie rock albums
