🔥 NAPA Speedway in the City is BACK! 🔥

Adelaide's CBD will once again come alive with high-speed, sideways Sprintcar action from 26–29 November as part of the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

The NAPA Sprintcar Invitational returns under lights on Thursday and Friday nights, featuring a massive $140,000 prize pool and some of Australia's best drivers, including three-time Australian champion James McFadden.

Formula 500’s and Modified Sedans will support the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational & Speedway Class Invitational on Thursday and Friday nights with their own $10,000 prize purses, producing edge-of-your-seat racing all evening.

Last year's NAPA Speedway was part of a blockbuster bp Adelaide Grand Final that generated more than $100 million in economic benefit for South Australia and attracted a total attendance of 285,700 people.

David Coulthard took to the track today in the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival Hypercars category, joined by his long-time McLaren teammate Mika Häkkinen.

Häkkinen drove the Solus GT, while Coulthard piloted a McLaren Senna GTR, braving wet conditions to put on a spectacular show for fans.

Coulthard won 13 Grands Prix across a 15-season Formula 1 career. He raced at the 1995 Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide, where he led the race before crashing out.

He remains active in Formula 1 as an ambassador for his former team, Red Bull Racing, and as a commentator for Channel 4’s Formula 1 coverage in the United Kingdom.

The pair also appeared in the Adelaide Marriott Grand Marquee, reflecting on their Adelaide memories and meeting fans.

They return to the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival tomorrow Sunday, March 1.
