Don't miss it this Friday Night! - 7th March.

The cars and bikes will leave the Adelaide Motorsport Festival site/Victoria Park at 5:55pm, onto Wakefield Street/Grote Street then left onto Morphett Street and left onto Gouger Street, where the Street Party will be held from 6pm until 8pm.

Featuring 40 of the hero-cars and motorbikes of the festival the Gouger Street Party literally stops traffic for this multi-million dollar spectacle.

Partygoers will mingle among the cars and stars, with a DJ, driver appearances and more creating a fun and festive atmosphere.

Work is underway in Victoria Park getting ready for the Adelaide Motorsport Festival 🏁 8th & 9th of March.

A motorsport "museum in motion". With it being a 'non-competitive' weekend, the paddock has a great vibe allowing you to get up close to the cars & drivers. It's a great event! 🏁

South Australia has seen a lot of legendary racers touch the Adelaide Street Circuit. Ayrton Senna was one of those legends.

The weekend of Imola 1994 was one of motorsports darkest weekends.... when many say 'God turned his back'.

29th of April saw Rubens Barrichello launched into the circuits fencing, but survived. 30th of April Roland Ratzenberger crashed and lost his life. The 1st of May Senna was also taken away.

A very tough time, which touched a lot of people.

"The day after.......as a fellow long time racing enthusiasts, the tragedy of Senna's death hit me. This tribute was just the start on main straight, a circuit he won his 41st and final GP victories right here in Adelaide"

Aussie rock royalty COLD CHISEL revved up fans last night, bringing the party to the Parklands to close out The VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary on The Big Five-0 Tour and returning to the city where the band was formed, COLD CHISEL treated fans to their bumper catalogue of crowd favourites from ‘Khe Sanh’, ‘Bow River’, to ‘Flame Trees’ and ‘You Got Nothin’ I Want’.

VAILO Adelaide 500’s Event and Concert Manager Brian Gleeson OAM said: “Fronted by the formidable Jimmy Barnes, the boys put on a spectacular show to remember, treating fans to a night of classic songs that sit at the forefront of Oz Rock history.

“It was the perfect ending to what has been two unforgettable nights of high-energy crowds and incredible music.”
