Picked up a Midnight Black translucent PS2 today in absolutely mint condition! ¥13,400 🤩 I found another in worse condition for ¥10,000, but I'm happy I bought this one!

What a day! 🙌 We visited 7 game stores around Osu, Nagoya — total otaku heaven! 👾 Some spots were pretty pricey, but we still scored a ton of bargains. K Store was hands-down our favorite ♥️ — a classic, gritty, old-school retro game shop. 👌 The owner really knew his stuff too. It was a tight squeeze to move around with the constant flow of shoppers, but honestly, I could've spent hours more in there.

Hard Off Japan 🔵🟡🇯🇵 Hitting as many Hard Off's in 3 weeks as possible between Osaka and Tokyo to see if they are still worth it in 2025. After COVID we started seeing some big changes in stock availability and pricing, and this year we've seen the biggest hit to both. Check out our YouTube channel "Team Retro" for daily videos! We'll also be visiting Ojamakan, Surugaya, Furuhon Ichiba, and Lucky Cat stores.

Day 3 Osaka 🇯🇵 Didn't get much game hunting in today but managed to find a couple of cool items. Picked up Planet DOB for the PlayStation at a Ojamakan. Also visited Osaka's smallest game store 😅 and found a PS2 BB Pack at a Hard Off 🤩 The Nara Deer themed train was also pretty cool!

Osaka Day 2 🇯🇵 2 Hard Off's and a Furuhon ichiba where I picked up a boxed Ocean Blue PS2! Definitely my find of the day!

Japan Day 1 🇯🇵 Osaka DenDen Town. Prices have definitely gone up since my last visit about 6 or 7 years ago, but I couldn’t resist checking it out. Suragaya had the best selection and prices of all the stores, and managed to add a couple of games to my collection.
