Just us and the sea life here in Manta Ray/Nellie Bay, Whitsundays.
Turtles popping their heads up, pod of dolphins hunting fish, sea eagles swooping, sting rays patrolling the shallows, and mantas flying up out of the water.
Lovely sandy beach, and flat water anchorage. Blazing sun setting through bushfire smoke over Gloucester Passage.
Remind me again why we all crowd around the islands, and neglect to explore the mainland bays?
