The brain is an amazing organ .We are just beginning to understand it.

We can, in a large sense , actually create our own reality.

Today economists believe that 25% of the USA’s economy is generated by persuasion .

That’s approx 5.85 TRILLION USD.

Persuasion has always been key to success in any endeavour; whether it’s business, civic discourse, interacting with ones loved ones, etc.

It’s for this reason Aristotle wrote his masterpieces of Rhetoric 1 and 2 almost 2400 years ago .

In simplified terms, he discussed the importance of ethos ( credibility /character of speaker) and pathos ( the emotional appeal of the speaker’s argument to one’s beliefs/values).

Although I am definitely no Aristotle , I will be discussing persuasion and how to construct an reasonable argument or sales presentation in a masterclass on zoom this July 4 630 pm SA time .
