A few weeks ago, I needed an image accordion for an Elementor project.
I tried an existing plugin. To add a button, I had to upload... An IMAGE. Of a BUTTON. 💀
So I did what any reasonable UX designer would do: complained about it for 20 minutes, then built my own plugin from scratch.
Along the way, I was reminded of a few things:
• The gap between designing something and shipping it is where the real learning happens.
• Micro-interactions matter. A title easing in from above while content rises from below feels far more polished than everything fading in together. Most people won't notice why... it just feels better.
• Writing documentation takes almost as long as building the feature. It's worth doing.
• Naming products is surprisingly difficult. I went through plenty of ideas before settling on Interactive Image Accordion for Elementor. Not the cleverest name, but it's clear.
• Shipping something useful beats polishing something nobody can use.
It's live now: hover/tap interactions that adapt to your device, directional micro-animations, liquid glass effects, 9-point content positioning, horizontal AND vertical layouts. Every element is a real, configurable field. No fake buttons.

The lesson here isn't "buy my plugin" (although, you know, feel free). It's that most product ideas start as a designer getting mildly irritated.
