As an internal project celebrating 10 years of An Awesome Wave, alt-J’s debut album, we designed a suite of wine bottle labels, each corresponding to (and inspired by) a track from the album. Each label was illustrated and textured digitally, before being modelled and rendered out in a 3D environment.

This media was not comissioned by Alt-J or any associated parties, and PixelSavvy is not affiliated with the band.

A distressed, dystopian vision of a bleak climate future is represented in this title sequence for “The Office of Climate Facts”.

Written as a short story by Mitch Sullivan, the Office of Climate Facts depicts a speculative world in which a government organisation similar to 1984’s “Ministry of Truth” downplays climate-induced natural disasters, heavily censors scientific research and discredits organisations such as the IPCC.

The brief for this piece was to create a title sequence for a TV adaptation of Sullivan’s story, and uses his bleak vision of the future as a warning for the present. Sullivan’s short story is available for free on the Arizona State University website!

The song used in this piece is “Oxbow B” by Lorn, overlaid with soundbites from Trump and JFK.

It was a massive privilege to animate this project for the Royal Australian Mint and the RSPCA, paying homage to one of Australia's most iconic ads! Some of the proceeds from the sale of each coin goes towards supporting animal welfare.

A massive thanks to the excellent team at Crux Media for this opportunity!
